I hope you don’t think I’m continuing to post on this subject in order to argue my point. That is not my purpose. I happen to believe strongly that there are many sane (not tin foil hat wearers) people who have legitimate questions as to why this is going on. The article below is evidence of that position. So, I don’t think Glenn Beck or anyone who cares about our country should ridicule them for their opinion and actions in trying to get at the truth.

gb does not see, hear or speak anything that his masters @ faux do not want.

While I agree that Faux News is a horrible source of news and opinions these days and only fit for idiots who can't think for themselves, you must not be very familiar with Glenn Beck - he was calling the birthers un-American going back to at least November of 2008, long before he had his Faux News show. He's been consistent on the birther issue since then, dismissing them in August of last year when talking to Michelle Malkin.

I'm not much of a fan of the man, but I find it amusing that so many who claim they are have ignored his long-time stance on the birther issue. I'm not saying you are a fan of his - obviously you are not, and hold the same view of Faux News that I do.

It doesn't get any more original or any more certified than this, as far as state records are concerned.

It doesn't get any more certified than that, and I think that's the point that Beck, O'Reilly, Malkin, Coulter, and others have tried to make.

I don't think very highly of those four - a bunch of showboats who will anything or change their opinions to make a buck in my opinion, but I do find myself agreeing with them occasionally, broken clock and all that, and I think they are right in that no matter what you believe, the State of Hawaii has signed off on it and that's who makes the decision.

As much as I dislike Bush and Cheney, I'm pretty confident that they would have raised a fuss if they felt he didn't meet one of the qualifications.

Hell, Hillary Clinton would have raged up and down the corridors of Congress if she didn't think he was eligible. You just think the birthers are angry, you can bet that she was much more angrier than they could ever be, that he dared to challenge her over what she considers to be rightfully hers, and she would not go down without a fight.

You were saying ...

Exactly right... all these people would have raised the issue, big-time, if there was something there. And now that the State of Hawaii has made it abundantly clear that Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural born American citizen -- that puts it to rest for all, except those who don't want to accept even an official statement from the very agency who keeps the records and who makes "certified copies" of those records...

Beck is correct. The second you question an established fact like his birth, you are considered a nut and racist and damage all the good things you support.

Birthers are idiots. If there were a shred of proof, Hillary would have used it. The irony is that Birthers provide cover for Obamas real flaw, his constant cleaving to things anti-American.
