It hit 25 here, the pump froze even with a faucet running. I’ll leave a faucet open a lot wider tonight.

Sorry about your pump. Heat lamp, maybe? It’s been in the teens/20’s here every night for a week. Sposed to get about 15 tonight. Sigh. If I wanted to be this cold, I’d move NORTH!
all you need is a drip. even if it freezes u r ok. pipes burst not from the ice pushing against the pipes but the liquid water pressing against the pipes down the line from the ice. all you need to do is relieve the water pressure. just fyi
