check out info on Michael Meehan, leading ‘Rat campaign flunky for Kerry, Cantwell, Daschle, Boxer, Dukakis et al.

IF that’s really who this is (and it seems obvious but we need to confirm what’s in the Weekly Standard post) then this is HUGE...... this is not just the usual union thug —— this guy has worked closely for a WHO’s WHO of leading Demagogues including KERRY........

This can be hung right around the Demagogues’ necks -— not some totally anonymous punk from some union hall, but (apparently) a big-time Democrat campaign hack.

maybe THIS Michael Meehan, dedicated campaign flunky and ‘Rat propagandist for even the dumbest lost causes:

http://www.enterstageright.com/archive/articles/0804/0804implodekerry.htm

Understandably, Kerry’s most fervent supporters are members of his current team who are accepting his word at face value. In one of his recent articles, Hal Lindsey proffers this tidbit from Michael Meehan, a senior member of Kerry’s campaign: “Many times he (Kerry) was on or near the Cambodian border and on one occasion crossed into Cambodia at the request of members of a special operations group operating out of Ha Tien.” However, Lindsey indicates that Rear Admiral Roy Hoffman, commander of the swift boats, disputes Kerry’s claim of having gone into Cambodia to transport CIA operatives or Special Forces. Hoffman stated: “I was always properly informed. The whole time I was there, I don’t recall [such a mission].” Lindsey rightly underscores that “the two accounts are irreconcilable. Only one can be true, since Kerry says he was in Cambodia, even involved in CIA special missions, and all the available evidence, including the recollections of even Kerry-friendly swift boat veterans, say he was not.”

Well, what gives? Kerry’s official biographer Doug Brinkley attempts to come to Kerry’s rescue, telling the London’s Daily Telegraph a few weeks back: “Kerry went into Cambodian waters three or four times in January and February 1969 on clandestine missions. He had a run dropping off US Navy Seals, Green Berets and CIA guys…He was a ferry master, a drop-off guy, but it was dangerous as hell. Kerry carries a hat he was given by one CIA operative.” Mr.Brinkley should give it up already; he’s “jumping the shark” (saying something that’s outrageously unbelievable, a real crock by any standard). In the absence of evidence, it truly appears that both Meehan and Brinkley are providing John Kerry with cover on his propensity to wield tall-tales. Again, if John Kerry wants this nation to believe him – or better yet, the Independent voters that are still up for grabs — he had better release all of his records, and even do a search of other available records that might vindicate his version of events.

Union or ACORN thug. He stated he was working for himself so the reporter had no duty to show him his credentials. He should have told the beast to go f*&@ himself.

Assailant Was a Coakley Staffer on Loan from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee?
Or just a really good lookalike?

2:15 AM, Jan 13, 2010 · BY John McCormack

A tipster tells me that the man who was pushing me outside of a Capitol Hill fundraiser Tuesday night for Massachusetts Democratic Senate candidate Martha Coakley is Michael Meehan.

Meehan heads up a firm called Blue Line Strategic Communications along with his partner David DiMartino, who was outside the fundraiser with Coakley tonight and introduced himself to me there. The AP reported on Monday that Meehan is also working for Coakley: “The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee also dispatched Michael Meehan, a media consultant with ties to Massachusetts, to assist the Coakley camp with messaging.”

Though I can’t say with 100 percent certainty, I think that Meehan is the man who shoved me into a metal railing Tuesday night. You can get the best look at him at about the 30-second mark of this video, and in this AP photo:

hey all —— see photos of the perp, now on the Weekly Standard blog!!

sure as heck looks like Michael Meehan or his twin, standing over the WS reporter he had just shoved into a metal railing and onto the sidewalk..... reporter’s pants were ripped.....

COAKLEY is standing right THERE just 3-4 ft away as it all happens —— and she’s looking right at the prone reporter on the sidewalk, she can’t possibly deny knowledge or her close presence at the assault!!! Yet she just kept walking......

If that’s not Michael Meehan in the main photo on the WS blog, looking down upon his victim sprawled on the sidewalk, I’ll be amazed.

photo caption on WS blog:

“(Martha Coakley, left, looks on as the alleged aggressor Meehan approaches me to help me up after he knocked me down. Note the large tear in the bottom of my right pant leg.)”

‘Rat campaign thug, but much more intimately “connected” than the avg. union or ACORN thug........

can you say Kerry-Daschle-Cantwell-Boxer-Dukakis-NARAL..... just some of Michael Meehan’s main political and campaign connections..... IF he’s the guy doing the assault, this is huge...... his bio says he’s worked on dozens of ‘Rat campaigns including two presidential campaigns (one was Kerry’s 2004 campaign for which Meehan was a “senior” strategist and spokes-flunky).

IF IF IF..... it is really Michael Meehan, he does not seem to be some distant trivial figure -— well he may be a mental peon, but still he’s right in the very heart of Democrat campaigns, candidates, the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee, etc. etc.

We must figure out asap if it is definitely Michael Meehan, as it would seem to be from the photos and the “tipster” who talked with the WS reporter......

there was a Mass. Representative (D) until recently, Martin (Marty) Meehan.... wonder if it’s the same family, even possibly father or uncle etc.?? b/c Michael Meehan sure seems to have a Mass. background, strong connections with Dukakis and especially with Kerry.......... wonder how many Mass. “Meehan” ppl are high up in Democrat party & campaign politics??? I’m guessing there’s a connection to former Rep. Meehan (now chancellor of U. Mass. Lowell, in a cushy pork-barrel job that Democrats like to give their pals with taxpayer funds).......

anyway, IF it is Michael Meehan in the (oooh “alleged” assault) he ties right into a bunch of leading Democrat pols, if only the Mediascum can be made to notice....... Coakley, Kerry, Daschle, Cantwell, Boxer, Dukakis, et al.

(not that Coakley is exactly a “leading” pol at anything, but she is front and center right now as the candidate of the moment)

Any word on if the reporter has filed charges against the perp?

We must encourage him to do so.

haven’t seen anything about it on the WS blog, but I sure hope the reporter will do so!!

he said he was “fine” after his tumble (except for ripped pants) but the legal standard for assault is not about whether the person ends up hurt or not, but whether the assault took place.......

Wednesday headlines SHOULD read “Coakley Strides Past Assaulted Reporter Sprawled on DC Sidewalk — Assailant Is Staffer for Coakley Campaign?”

It’s always a clue to a Dem’s violent mindset that they would attack an innocent unborn child in its mother’s womb and call it an act of “compassion.”

Boy, that name Marty Meehan came to mind in a nano second after reading though the thread and I haven't been a MA resident in eons.

My guess? A cousin, and this smells of nepotistic hackery that is will the employment vehicle of all the apparatchiks we will have to go through with Obamacare, and of which is the way it is done in MA currently. We will have to deal with paper pushing version of thugs like this to get our freakin tonsils out. G_d help us.

That reporter really kept his cool. It was good that he kept his arms up to avoid any assault on his part. Very brave. Not sure I could do the same.
