MA-Sen. 2010: The Lesson Of Brown? (a RINO who supported Romneycare, Sotomayor, abortion)
The Atlantic ^ | 2010-01-15

Frum sees him as an antidote to the Tea Party madness:

Strong on defense and school choice, opposed to the Obama administration’s signature initiatives, Brown voted in favor of Mitt Romney’s health plan in Massachusetts. He describes himself as pro-choice (subject to reasonable limitations), accepts gay marriage in Massachusetts as a settled fact, and told the Boston Herald editorial board he would have voted to confirm Sonia Sotomayor.

YES!! it is better to have a good Socialist Obamabot in Coakley than another RINO like McLame & his former VP running mate

Then again, there’s Snowe, Collins, Graham, etc

so the 60 vote supermajority is still possible.

I hate RINOs as much as anyone here, but in MA, even a RINO would be a major upgrade from Dead Kennedy, who has been sober for what, 5 months now? Wonder how he is getting along - catching up with a lot of old friends?

Blah blah blah, nobody is doing any such thing. The problem here is not that Brown is a RINO, but that you are simply too dumb to think for yourself, choosing rather to let David Frum manipulate you.

No, see you don't understand. For these jihadist "conservatives" a RINO is anyone who does not hold 100% to the exact position they personally hold on every single issue.

Just try to get rabscuttle and the other jihadists here to define what ARE the conservative positions on issues and you'll get silence; apparently only they can discern a RINO when they see one... The rest of us should just sit back and accede to the visions of these sees.

He's conservative: lower taxes, smaller government, personal freedom. And he supports limits on abortion. I think that's a good test to determine whether someone is on our side. Brown is. Coakley isn't. That happens to be good enough for me.

I know...I did go in blindly because I am wanting a conservative SO BADLYYYYYYYYYY to win. Shoot me for God’s sake :)

Hunh uh, I'm not playing that stupid little game with you, where you pretend to be Mr. Purist Conservative, who's poo is just a little more to the Right of everybody else's, such that you can't use even a smidgen of common sense to support a reasonably conservative candidate in a vitally important race, and then when I call you out on being an idiot, you get to try to play it off like the only reason I'm doing so is because I'm Mr. Secret Romney RINO Supporter.

If you can't use a little common sense to figure out the dynamics of this Senate race, and if you can't be bothered to actually find some things out about what you're talking about before you type, then the problem is YOURS, not mine.

SO, in your mind, Calvin Coolidge was a better conservative than Ronald Reagan. Got it.

Says a lot about your ability to discern a RINO...

Frum is an a$$hat. Brown’s run does nothing to add him any credence.

Honestly, it doesn’t even matter. I’d vote for an avowed RINO tomorrow if he could kill the healthcare bill.

Frum is an establishmentarian of the RINO Gop. R

He is using this race to attempt to belittle Tea Partiers and rank and file conservatives.

Although I will abandon the GOP if I get another Mcain RINO on the national stage...and I prefer conservatives in every state...

I see the use for moderates and even some liberal GOP candidates in states that are hopelessly Blue...Mass, Ca, Maryland and others.

Of course I’d never vote for them. But it’s necessary politics if you want to be a majority.

***The critical thing here is that it shows there is a real war going on in the Republican Party. It is more important for RINO Frum to take this opportunity to lambast conservative and Tea Party activists than it is to win this election and stop the 60.***

So, don’t think we are not in a war with the Rino’s and establishment for control of the Party. I guarantee you they are on this site, if only in the form of underling hacks.

SO, in your mind, Calvin Coolidge was a better conservative than Ronald Reagan. Got it.

Considering that Coolidge was Reagan's hero...I would tend to think so.

Considering that Coolidge actually cut both taxes AND spending and ushered in the Roaring Twenties...I would tend to think so.

Quit posturing and answer the question for once Rab.

Your posting history shows you spend 100% of your time sniping at anyone center-right who is not dogmatically pure enough for you. Your articles routinely are based on misstatements, half truths and, in a number of cases, out right lies. For example, your article that tried to claim Bush was worse on the defect then Obama.

Despite posturing as an “arch Conservative” you never, ever manage to ever find anything on the Left to direct your ire at. Nope, 100% of the time you are acting as a Democrat Part propagandist. Not once do you attack the Democrat Party and your Dear Reader on anything

Why is that?

Palin spoke highly of Title IV in her book. That is not a conservative position. Is she a RINO too?

He supports parental notification, against lowering age of consent, voted for religious exemptions for hospitals and is endorsed by one of the MA pro-life groups. I sure would like to know about Sotomayer- that’s for certain, but he is head and shoulders above Coakley and many of the other current Repubs. Whether we like it or not, gay marriage is the law of this state. That was not controversial.

I have no problem poking Scott Brown with a stick if, during his service, he strays from conservatism, but I will enthusiastically support him in this election.

The conservatives that you are seeking are not going to win in Massachusetts and not in many other states. Reality versus delusion.

Joe Kennedy in keeping with libertarians is pro immigration, anti war, pro homosexual marriage and I assume pro partial birth abortion

With the exception of the "libertarian" tag, Joe Kennedy sounds just like that "other" Kennedy who recently went room temp.

100 percent? LOL. Didn't I post a whole list to you of threads attacking Democrats?

Or does the truth just hurt that badly?

You have your elitists liberals in the wealthier towns to go with all of the minority votes. However, you have plenty of Reagan Democrats who cannot stand Obama style of government either. Those votes can be had by someone who isn’t seen as a bow tie country club republican or southern theocritist. (Yeah, I made that term up)

Coolidge so weakened the conservative movement we ended up with 16 years of FDR and the New Deal. Reagan cut taxes WITHOUT a majority control of either chamber, AND ushered in the 80s and 90s...

But that’s OK. In your mind Reagan is worse than Coolidge. You never define was a “conservative” position is on any issue, and you only attack conservatives.

You’re a troll...

Bye!
