I’m going to start calling him Maverick.

The dogs have already left the kennel and peed all over Palin’s leg—a little late for that.

Owes him for what? His backstabbing staff or the mountain of legal bills her national exposure racked up forcing her out of the governorship.

I think your love affair with Sarah might be clouding your principles.

I would vote for Sarah, and would have supported her. But, I haven’t lost all reality to the point I can’t see that this move to support McRino is not a good one.

Putting pictures up of Sarah, as beautiful as she is, doesn’t chage the fact that she out and out LIED to us. She said she would ONLY support conservatives. I rest my case. McRino is NOT a conservative.

Look yall...she ran with him for POTUS.

She could not very well not appear with him in Arizona now considering she did that very thing all over the US for a year

McCain just got lucky picking her...the downside for her publicly rebuking an old man who was her party’s POTUS nominee last year would be steep on the mean factor.

I don’t like it either but can’t see how she had much choice. I will ping some smart people to see what they think.

DiD I miss something?

Has Sarah, actively campaigned for Mccain, has she made personal appearances or written op ed's?

Slow the hell down and let the election take form.

Look, we’ve already had a Republican majority with the likes of McCain, and look where that got us: compassionate conservatism, massive spending, and more government. McCain was part of that.

rabscuttle385 is a patriot for exposing McCain. He’s spent years fighting the rot (aka McCain) in our own ranks. Try collecting articles and running a massive ping list to educate FReepers on a key topic...for years. I applaud rabscuttle385 and wish there were more like him.

Hayworth is fading because he hasn’t announced yet. He needs to get off his ass and do it.

The primary is in August. Why on earth is he waiting so long?

It will be interesting if Palin will support Senate candidates in primary running against candidates McCain supports. I believe Palin will support RUBIO over Crist. McCain supports Crist.

Let him win back his Congressional seat first, then I will support him for the Senate.

He will be there as long as Byrd, unless Providence intercedes.

Incumbency is hard to beat, especially by a challenge from someone in the same party.

The Sarah frenzy here on FR is very reminiscent of the Fred frenzy of 2008

It's mostly the same people. They've pulled the wool over their own eyes. I love this story about Palin campaigning for McCain. It's great news. I'm enjoying the show. Mindless followers are a plague. I love to see them disappointed.

Freepers have hitched their wagons to Sarah Palin’s star way too soon IMO.

No problem. Wagons can be unhitched just as quickly. I know mine has. I pains and disappoints me to say To hell with Palin. Her instant fame and popularity has all gone to her head.

I love Sarah, but I’m still voting Hayworth.

Makes me wonder if her support wasn’t some pre-agreed-upon condition to her being accepted/chosen and McStain’s running-mate.

__________________________________________________________

She said on the Glenn Beck radio yesterday when asked that “she keep her promises” I do believe that some sort of agreement was made in the past, maybe even during the 2008 campaign, but there is no doubt that she personally and genuinely took a liken to him in her book, that part doesn’t seem like a fake affection.
