Having served in the military and having attended a SOTU under a Republican President while in uniform, we were instructed not to react positively or negatively, since this is the CINC speaking and you shouldn't show an opinion either way for the cameras. It shocks me to see that young enlisted soldier somewhere above Mr.s Obama standing and applauding. Either he doesn't care or feel he's earned the right or something. Then again he's not sitting down on the floor.
