Too easy. No comments, just thoughts.
Know what? I really don’t care. After what he did to the Marines, the dishonesty he has demonstrated while in Congress and then to brag he is a retired reserve Colonel of Marines...nope not going to get a get well card from this Marine (ret).
If I had my way, I’d strip him of his Marine status as a retired reserve.
( by the way I would love to see his RRCR reports..Marines will know what that is)
Nice scripture there, Minute Gal! All the answers you’ll ever need are found in God’s word “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall never pass away” Mark 13:31
Being 77 yo is probably a significant “complication” here as well.
That is interesting since the Navy provides the medical doctors, nursed, dentists and corpmen for Marines.
I have a friend who is a lawyer yet in the Marine Corps was a grunt.
3 wishes for Murtha....
1. He gets well soon.
2. Russell defeats him in Nov.
3. JM enjoys his retirement with family.
This is like hearing your Mother-in-Law just drove off a cliff in your brand new Cadillac ....
and all 76,113 residents of Greater Johnstown just put For Sale signs on the front lawn...
Just my own wish at irony. Not true by any means.
Better make sure nobody is standing on his oxygen hose.
While the doctors are at it, why don’t they give him an ethics implant?
My brother had emergency G-Bladder removal a few years ago; as he was coming out of the anesthesia (his wife confirms...) his first words were: “Did they save it for me? I want to feed it to the cat.”
My guess is either a post-op bowel obstruction or pulmonary complications.
Other than that, I have nothing to add.
If he needs a blood transfusion, do you think that he will have cold or warm blood?
The other thing is that it may not necessarily be gall stones or cholecystitis. We will have to see if the path shows gall bladder cancer. The other possible complication is inflammation and the development of strictures in the ducts that drain from the liver into the small bowel. This could lead to increased hepatic pressure and liver failure.
Politico needs some more medically astute reporters or at least ones not interested in being complicit with a possible medical cover-up.
I wish him a speedy medical recovery and total defeat in the November congressional elections.
Replacements may NOT be appointed.

Prayers for his family!
I think it is best to look back in history and see what some of our great figures of the past might have to say on such an occassion.
Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go. — Oscar Wilde
LOL! Reminds me of the story told about my great-grandmother. She asked for (and received) her gallstones.
