I want to know who is a democrat and who is a republican. Then I’ll accept (or think about accepting) Obama’s verbiage “bipartisan.”

Here’s one of Obama’s picks for the Council of Governors, and you may remember the guy from last year:

Obama Picks MIAC Report Governor to Serve on Advisory Council for Defense and National Security Issues: Council of Governors

It was less than a year ago that a Missouri Highway Patrolman faxed the Alex Jones show a copy of Jay Nixon’s Modern Militia Movement Report. The MIAC report, issued by the Missouri governor, took tea party images and turned them into themes of domestic terrorism. If you are pro-life, a patriot, a believer in the Second Amendment and the Constitution, Jay Nixon’s report claimed you were a suspect of domestic terrorism.

"Governor Chris Gregoire, Appointee for Co-Chair"

This is the person for whom the template for stealing elections was perfected that was applied in Minnesota last year to steal the filibuster-proof 60th senate seat for the clown Al Fraken.

Gregoire lost the election, but there were three re-counts as more ballots magically appeared from trunks of cars and such creative places where they'd been "innocently overlooked".

As soon as she was a few votes ahead all of a sudden calls for additional re-counts were dismissed by the media as ridiculous, because suddenly there was urgency to "get on with the peoples' business".

Now she's an exemplary Democrat leader.

Anyone not drunk on Kool-Aid knows they're nothing but a gang of shameless scumbags.

"...exchange views, information and advice on matters of mutual interest pertaining to the National Guard, homeland defense, synchronization and integration of State and Federal military activities in the United States, and civil support activities"

Somebody better be reading this stuff closely...comrade obammer is setting up a coup. We have no "civil unrest" in the USA, unless he is referring to the Tea parties.

If he get's charge of the National Guard, we are in big trouble and here comes the forced takeover of the USA, including.....INCLUDING...confiscation of firearms.

There is not other urgent reason to form this type of commission. Remember the commission he wanted to form to dictate spending, overriding the next congress? It got shot down, and so should this organization of governors.

WE need to take a strong look at which governors are included and how they react to his "coup" like activities. REMEMBER in NOVEMBER.

This whole Council of Governors bothers me and is a bit scary... It makes me wonder what it's leading to or setting us up for?

Sec. 2. Functions. The Council shall meet at the call of the Secretary of Defense or the Co-Chairs of the Council to exchange views, information, or advice with the Secretary of Defense; the Secretary of Homeland Security; the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism; the Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement; the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense and Americas' Security Affairs; the Commander, United States Northern Command; the Chief, National Guard Bureau; the Commandant of the Coast Guard; and other appropriate officials of the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense, and appropriate officials of other executive departments or agencies as may be designated by the Secretary of Defense or the Secretary of Homeland Security.

"...synchronization and integration of State and Federal military activities in the United States"

That right there sounds unconstitutional...anyone have more specific info on the legality/constitutionality of this, or is it OK is Obama says it's OK?

Congress passed a law under the Bush administration to establish this council supposedly to give the governors more input into handling of emergency situations.

Taken in context of many other factors, including other executive orders, it appears to be morphing into a way around the posse comitatus act of 1878.

If the government continues on the current reckless course, causing a collapse of our economical system, there will be plenty of unrest.

It will make the current T party movement look like Aunt Hilda’s genteel afternoon coffee club to review the book, “Little House on the Prairie”.
