Brown hits back at Kennedy for ‘joke’ candidacy dig

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A stung U.S. Sen. Scott Brown lashed out at U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy today for insulting his landmark win by calling his candidacy “a joke.”

Brown said Kennedy’s remarks are “mean spirited,” especially coming on the day he was celebrating being sworn into office.

“I was elected and the votes are certified and I’m here to do my job. It’s unfortunate that he would use mean-spirited comments like that at a time when we’re just trying to solve the problems of the Commonwealth,” Brown said today on his first full day on the job.

I HOPE the Republicans know they now have the strength to shut down the Senate.

At the first sign of White House participating in unlawful activities (backroom deals, bribes for votes, taking over federal activities like the census), Repubs can shut down the Senate until the illegal activity stops.

Shutdown is in addition to

(1) filing lawsuits,

(3) getting injunctions, and,

(4) getting TRO’s against all those involved in illegal activities.

Brown's response to the impertinent Kennedy comment I would have recommended: "Oh, I'm sure it was just the liquor talking."

And a sly wink right after the comment.

Dems are bloviating, hornswoggling the electorate, finagling for bipartisan approval, hoping Repubs will bail out Obomba's phony "job-creation bill" (another Dem slush fund).

Brown weighed in saying: “I’d like to see it - it hasn’t been given to the Republicans at all to look at. “ And if it includes tax increases, I’m probably not going to vote for it, Brown said."

That's tellin' 'em Scott. Brown zeroing in on Dems secrecy and underhandedness will carry more weight than the limp Repub responses so far.

Woa! He’s getting right into the fray! Note also his tactic to let them know if increased taxes he probably won’t be voting for it ...(wheather they give him the bill or not) Ha!...good move! So basically he laid the cards right out there...

...give me the bill after you take the raised taxes out of it and then I might consider signing it.

GREAT MOVE BY BROWN: he's getting right into the fray........... Note his tactic.......he lets Dems know he probably won’t be voting for Ohaha's phony job creation bill that Dems have been hiding from Repubs.

Brown lays his cards out in the open: "give me the bill after you take out the raised taxes, and I might consider signing it."

Nice deconstruction, caww. It seems Brown has a gift for subtlety together with all his other gifts.......................

But of course subtlety will be wasted on Dims and the stupid WH crew who think they can get away with hornswoggling the electorate.

Patches Kennedy to Brown: "Do you know who I am?"

Brown to Kennedy: "No. I know who your two dead uncles were which is the only reason you are in office, but I don't know you at all. And being on a first name basis with the staffs at various drug rehab facilities is not much of an accomplishment."

Yes,..no doubt this is one individual to watch and see just how he operates. If this is an indication of his style I am very much pleased......

Without going to far down the road or implying to much...sometimes unique and gifted people come on the scene who one can imagine facing international as well as national leaders. They are rare. So I will indeed be watching Scott Brown and believe worthy of that.

We can kid and joke about his good looks etc. but we all know there’s a great deal more to this man than that. Actually he could be butt ugly and I’d still be watching, he IS impressive...statesmanship comes to mind.
