"Are you good without God? Millions are" is the message on 10 new billboards in the Sacramento, CA area. The billboards, which are part of a nationwide campaign that began last year, were put up by the Sacramento Area Coalition of Reason. It's an umbrella organization for a variety of groups including the First Atheist Church of True Science, Humanist Association of the Greater Sacramento Area, Sacramento Area Skeptics, and Atheists and Other Freethinkers.
Sponsors of the "good without God" billboards say it's not an attack on theism but, instead, a message directed to their own community.
"It's a way of reaching out to people," said Fred Edwords, national director of United Coalition of Reason (quoted in the Sacramento Bee). "Many folks who think like us think they are the only ones." "We non-theists are your family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers," said Rachael Harrington, coordinator of the Sacramento group, in a news release. "We're just like you, except we don't believe in a supreme being. It's about time we were equally free to be open about our views."
Why do they spend there whole time worrying about something they don’t even believe in? Seems to me, they are trying to convince themselves that there isn’t a God.

When Jesus said, “therefore keep watch”, did he mean we should watch for His return once in a while or occasionally? No, He said to, “keep watch” which means to maintain a watch, or watch continuously.
“Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36).
You only have to read one of these threads to see the sort of hate and condescenion that is directed towards non-believers. That’s all I’m going to say on the subject.
They have to believe in G-d, you only hate what you believe.
If they truly didn't believe, they would be apathetic, and they certainly aren't that.
Our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers [empaiktes] who will follow their own ungodly desires.”
These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.

I don’t understand why, if God desires that none perish in these very perilous times on earth, why He creates people that He knows will perish?
hate and condescenion is not of GOD or Christ....
Do we fail at times inpreaching the GOOD NEWS? yes of course, we are all sinners in need of redemption...
The flesh can be beaten down and react wih anger and rage, that is why Jesus Christ said: To always pray to the *Holy Spirit*
For the flesh is weak, but the Holy Spirit is mighty powerful in Christ....

Sacramento is arguably proof to the contrary.
He said that those who do those sins and refuse to stop or ask for redemption by the blood of the lamb will perish..
Simple really- If you had a decaying roton orange, would you set it inside a bowl of fresh healthy oranges??? No of course not...However if you wrapped that orange in a tight fitting siran wrap, you could then set it inside the fresh bowl of oranges wihout contaminting THEM...
GOD is PERFECT without any SIN...When we wrap ourselves in Christ’s wrap, we then can enter that *Bowl* with GOD’s perfection....
I only talk about my atheism if it is relevant to the discussion. Otherwise it’s a personal matter.
These fools refuse to see the moral instincts God installed in every human being. They give themselves credit for their arrogant concept of right and wrong and pick and choose the morality that suits their belief system. For them, good can be evil and evil can be good. There is no divine standard that guides them.
With out God, their mortal souls will end abruptly and without glory. And God will cast them away like chaff in the wind.
Anybody who doesn't believe that there are aggressive, dogmatic, fundamentalist atheists can go to Democratic Underground to see people working hard to spread their gospel. I wonder how liberal Christians put up with the gratuitous insults.
I have one atheist friend who is like that. He and I have been friends for years and he doesn't advertise it but will mention it if the subject warrants it. People like you two tend to be the exception rather than the rule in my experience.
I've met so many who are in my face about it - particularly when I visit family and friends in the DC area - LOL.
You don't understand...Some of the religious types here on this thread have already suggested or are hoping an earthquake is over due and will punish everyone in Cal for these billboards...
Others has said or suggested everyone in California promotes drugs, is anti family, anti marriage, pro homosexual, and we are all basically devil worshipers...
All those conservatives and others that believe in God, that you know in Sacramento, are just figments of your imagination.
We need to live in a states that are pure and good....Like North Carolina or Pennsylvania.
We are truly in the end times. I firmly believe that. And our Father’s time line is much different than ours.

I know liberals who claim the name of Christ, but at the same time deny the exclusivity of His sacrifice and gift of salvation. IE, they proclaim to be Christians and at the same time claim there are many ways to God, contrary to what Christ Himself declared repeatedly.

I agree. It’s just like the homosexual movement. Not only acceptance but we must agree with them.
