15 years ago when I was teaching in a middle school out in the 'burbs, instead of deep in the inner city where I am now and have been for 12 years, we had a report by a school bus driver of two students engaging in coitus out by the portable classrooms. They were hidden from direct view of the school by the portables but not at 90 degrees from the road where the school bus stopped. We teachers dashed out and sure enough, two SIXTH graders going hot and heavy (all the way) and without protection to boot! We wound up having the driver arrested, btw. Why? He'd watched awhile before reporting the activity. That was 15 years ago. Today in my inner city high school, it is not unusual to catch kids (especially hormone driven 9th graders) having sex around the grounds. Three of my own students have given birth so far this school year. That's about par for the course each year I've been there. So far.

I am glad my kids are safe at home with me everyday! That is unbelievable. These kids shouldn’t even know that much about sex much less have experienced that much. The bus driver should have been arrested. I hope he is still in jail!
