McConnell needs to grow a pair and state vociferously that the RATs can’t even pass their own radical agenda without a single Republican vote.

Fox - McConnell - Stimulus probably helped save state govt jobs, but did nothing to little to create private sector jobs.
He plans on showing up at obama’s “health summit”.
On November elections - if held today, Repub’s would be in a much better position.
On gridlock - Repubs are quite cooperative, just not on the health care and cap and trade bills.

McConnell (on Health care bill) “The fundamental point I want to make is the arrogance of all this”

^
I’d prefer you’d stick to stating what’s wrong with the bill, like most Americans already have health care insurance...

For goodness sake, what cowards? Rumsfeld? Ashcroft? General Meyers? Condi Rice? Tony Snow?

This type of exagerration irritates the heck out of me. Since you haven't run for office, perhaps you could refrain from hurling insults at those who served our country during a very perilous time.

Powell isn't a coward. He IS an opportunist who lacks integrity, a fact NONE of us knew (including President Bush) when Powell was named Secretary of State. Sometimes weaknesses in people don't show up until they are faced with temptation. In Powell's case, he couldn't stand the insults of the left, day after day, and after a while set about distancing himself from the administration and eventually undermining the President.

Please, don't call those people cowards. I miss most of them more than I can say, looking at who we have in their places now.

I wish McConnell had simply told Wallace that there are times “no” is the right answer. He’s nothing to be defensive about.

McConnell: We're not going to sign on to make America into a European country.

For anyone who could stay awake for the entire interview on FNS,(McConnell's voice, God Bless him, has a sedative effect), this is a wonderful quote - should be repeated all week on talk shows.

Yep, when will McConnell get mad about all the unemployment/poverty in his state? Senate Democrats have made the economy far worse since January 2007

Wallace is really in his anti-GOP mode this morning. Not sure how much more I can watch.

Couldn’t get the Steal-Care vampire through (but still trying), so it’s time for that all important Retirement Savings Summit!

(Isn’t it so terrible and “irresponsible” that folks have insufficient funds in their retirement savings? Time to make it manditory with the threats of jail-time and big fines.....and we’ll tell you just how must your minimum contribution is required....Oh and this too... we’ll watch over all the private businesses too, to make sure all their employees comply....some neat little audits and threats will do just fine there too)

That may be another problem with donating directly to the candidates. It can result in the canidate having cash on hand that’s not needed/used. If it is contributed to PACs or directly to the party, the money can be dispursed to the canidates (that represent our views) that most need it.

Republicans need to embrace the word “no.”

No government takeovers.
No big spending.
No new taxes.
No backroom deals.
No closed door sessions.

...

Wallace asks MI Gov Granholm if stimulus has worked. She says it has slowed trajectory of job loss.

Gov. Barbour - stimulus has saved state govt jobs. We need private sector. Says 500 jobs were created (in ??) for $350 Mil cost.

Granholm again quotes the 2 million saved jobs, nationwide.

Arnold says the tea party is not going to go anywhere, just angry people.

Good example of the level of insight that got him where he is today.
