Tell Haley to take a look at Chris Christie, NJ newly elected governor.
The man is presidential material some day. He outweighs Haley by about 100 lbs.
Rendell: “The Republican party has a very difficult task ahead. They just can’t say No on Thursday. The American people are going to be watching, and they’re watching clearly. They’ve gotta come up with some ideas; ‘You take some of our ideas, and we’ll take some of yours’ If they don’t do that, then I think this whole dynamic of this political year could turn around.”
Watch the speech. You will not waste your time. I promise (for what it's worth.) It was a truly excellent, conservative speech.
Arianna said that the floor mat with Olberman’s picture on it, incites violence.
Arianna has had too much botox, her brain is gone gone gone.
Oohhh.... George Will made the same analogy. LOL
On Cheney comments, Powell says TSA takes care of me everyday that I go to an airport.
Heh.
We have a choir loft in our church. Big thing, as choir lofts go, reaches “lofty” heights, forgive the pun.
But the big organ sits on the altar and the choir sings in the first few pew rows.
I am on the Finance Council of the church and we have our big annual meeting this past Sat. Priest says while we are renovating the ceiling (falling tiles, that sort of thing), and with the scaffold up already, we should move the organ back up to the choir loft. It’ll be expensive, he says, but then’s the time.
So I ask, as I wont to do...why was it moved to begin with? By me I think choir loft are great things and an organ up there would sound mighty, as I considered. But hey, I never heard it or anything.
“The Vatican made us move it,” the priest says.
So, of course, I say well how comes we can move it back up there now?
“Vatican changed the rules,” priest says, something about square and rectangle churches.
Yeah, I used to not eat meat on Friday. I loved it as a kid. always had fishsticks and macaroni and cheese, my favorite meal.
So I never cheated and ate meat but I do pity those that did who will now spend time in Purgatory for rules that, ahem, have once again been changed.
I could answer that question in two words-it’s personal.
Powell is not a Republican. Powell makes me cringe when he speaks about Obama.
Ask the Michiganders. I am from Indiana.
Powell is such a racist goof. He is unable to be responsible for anything, even his LIB/DIM perspectives. Isn’t he supposed to “fade away”? When does that start?
I sure would like to see Mike Pence as Speaker of the House.
I’d like everyone to keep an example of what their Democrats said about Stimulus jobs, we’ve got to beat these liars as we carry the weight for some(most? all?) Republicans...
[maybe Republicans just aren’t picking up on the rampant spreading poverty in their districts since 2007 when Democrats took over Congressonal majorities...]
Oh, yeah.
Fox bends over a little too far to be fair and BALANCED.
I agree about all the people you cited ... could do without them all, happily, and it wouldn’t hurt Fox a bit to get rid of them.
Obama and the left already says they are unfair so ....
When President Bush went into Iraq he sent terror into the hearts of our enemies.
Now that we have a terrorist apologist in the White House we are horribly vulnerable.
No one is afraid of the teleprompter presidente.
Pence on MTP - People are tired of “take-it-or-leave-it approach of the dem’s.
Van Hollen - spouting all the things they passed, until the health care bill came along. The reason there is gridlock - it’s all the Repub’s fault.
EJ Donne - Repubs don’t have enough moderates to work with the dem’s.
Noonan - obama should have been more centrist. Patisanship allows bad bills to pass.
“Arianna said that the floor mat with Olbermans picture on it, incites violence.”
I guess she forgot about Obama telling people to “get in their faces.”
It was a pretty good speech.
Except if one listened closely, which I did, he’s starting to sound a lot like Ron Paul.
I like Beck but of late I don’t trust him. I feel like I never know when he’s going to go all whacko.
And his affiliation with Bill O’Reilly is definitely weird.
Beck’s got a knack for speechifying, make no mistake, but I don’t trust him. I might listen, give him my time, but I’m wary of him.
