Glenn Beck's Rousing,Inspiring CPAC Speech
WatchGlennBeck.com ^ | 2-20-10 | Glenn Beck

I hate to beat a dead horse, but I just invited my friend over here to watch the CPAC speech. He is black (and so am I). Not surprisingly, he has been a democrat all his life. I asked him to watch the Glenn Beck speech as a favor to me..he owes me several. It wasn't 20 minutes into the speech when Glenn started talking about being down on his luck and because of his failure he could be there at CPAC..my friend teared up. I'm telling you- I might not have him yet-but eventually I'm going to convert him. At least now he doesn't think Glenn is a racist!

The reason for this post was to tell you all- please send this to your friends even if they are democrats..if they have an open mind and are still thinking for themselves, they will be able to relate to Glenn in this speech.

Thanks to FReeper JoeSeales, here is a good place to watch it in HQ with no ticker or anything on the screen.

Glenn Beck has degenerated into a raving lunatic. I liked his TV show on Fox News at first, as he has been very entertaining and, on occasion, informative.

But his recent claims that there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats is wrong and harmful to conservatism.

Buh-bye, Glenn Beck. You finally done jumped the shark.

I have never had much use for GB anyway. But after what happened at CPAC this week, (GOProud booing of the YAF guy) and the mass amounts of RINOs, I am suspicious of anyone who claims to be conservative and supports CPAC. So we will see what next year will bring.

It had it’s moments, but it was often contradictory and pointless. I particularly liked how he ranted about those who want to tell you about their childhood to explain themselves, he was only interested in NOW! And five minutes later in invested a half dozen paragraphs to his own childhood to explain himself. Beck is a TV evangelist-— a good one, but a too shallow vessel in which to put much faith. By appointing himself the sole prophet of impending doom he’s putting increasing loads on a structure already not up to code, IMO.

The speech was fabulous and many of my email contacts agree after I sent it to them last night. Glenn is taking a shot at Republican PROGRESSIVES.... IMO rightly so.

I just told you that Glenn’s speech brought to tears a life long-BLACK democrat. Now that is saying something, isn’t it? Even if you don’t like Glenn, give him props for what he is doing to wake people up in this country- he has people starting to think for themselves. I don’t think he’s God- I’m just sayin’..he’s in a position to do a lot of good here.

Did the gays in the audience like the speech?

By speaking there, does Beck now support the homos?

BINGO! There are, granted, a couple of things I do not agree with Beck on, but this is NOT one of them. There are progressives in both parties, and they need to be weeded out. And there are points which I can also say I disagree with other people on, in fact no one agrees on everything.

Sorry I caught only a bit of Glenn’s speech; and so missed most of it. Guess I can catch it on net somewhere. That said. . .did Glenn vote for Paul?/sigh!

From what I heard, granted no documentation of point of reference, simply hearsay, from those who were there (Only a few, since that is the few that I know who attended) the answer to those things are no, and no.

Unfortunately, Mr. Beck may be right at least partially regarding the similarities between Republicans and Democrats. These days you can’t tell what with all the RINOs out there. Now there is this presumed desire to “work together” to achieve “common ground” between the parties (particularly regarding this alleged health care reform). Bull! There should not now or ever be common ground. With the Democrats, cooperation means capitulation. Republicans need to get back to their conservative roots and stop playing footsie with the socialists who want to destroy this country.

But his recent claims that there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats is wrong and harmful to conservatism.

In what way? What makes you think republicans are conservatives?

Just finished watching the entire thing on YouTube less than 2 minutes ago.

You cannot deny his love for our country and his unbridled passion for embracing the vision of our founding fathers.

How many current Republican leaders are willing to call progressivism a cancer on America?

Beck is a reasonably decent guy, and ardent opponent of communism. He has rightly names the communist sympathizers and outright marxists in the Obonehead Admin.

He worries me with the LDS as does Romney as an LDS adherent. Harry Reid is an LDS’er too. FWIW I live about 8 miles from where Joesph Smith allegedly met with the Angle and received the tablets. The Hill Cummorah Pagent is an interesting bit of theatrics that requires a suspension of history to be considered anything but comedy.

Nobody, but nobody, has been screwed worse by the Rats than Blacks.

I have never understood why Blacks continue to support the Rats.

It's a total and complete mystery.
