Newly-seated Republican Sen. Scott Brown (Mass.) on Monday joined Democrats in voting to end debate on their $15 billion jobs bill.

Brown crossed the aisle after Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) nixed an $85 billion, bipartisan plan in favor of a more narrowly-focused bill.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

The tree of liberty thirsts.

I want my campaign donation back ... with 200% interest.

How dare he kill a bipartisan bill which might provide *some* help for a lesser porker of no value.

It’s not like small business is getting a life line!

I don’t know about anyone else..but the more I listen to Brown the more I see a dem. back in that seat. Am I wrong? Or does he just seem ‘dumbass’ to me?

The thread wasn’t about taxes, you moral Gomorrahite

That thread was about how Brown was discussing his position wrt to killing unborn babies. Sure, he said he was against partial-birth abortions, as if killing a baby in the womb is less harmful to the baby than killing it as it emerges. You seem to think his taking this position is akin to a soldier falling on a grenade to save his squad.

This thread is about Brown taking choosing to expand the federal government only a little bit, instead of a lot.

Which is the same as going over the cliff at 70mph instead of 90mph.

Where is the Brown who stands up to demoCRAPs in favor of the US taxpayer instead of standing hand-in-hand with them and singing Kumbayah?

And how dare he think of his constituents before his allegiance to a national political party?

Wanting to shoot hoops with a hard core socialist/marxist in the White House.
There was nothing cute or light hearted about that, when he said it that night in front of a cheering crowd of supporters. What's wrong with this picture???!!! I thought.

Time will tell.
Problem is, time is running out to fast to be playing games.

Barry can see the impact of the November elections and is making his move.

This is why obama does not have to worry about being a one term president. The Republican Party will not allow that. No matter what trouble with voters he gets himself in, the Republican Party will allow him to once snactch victory from the jaws of defeat as they [the Republican Party] snatches defeat from the jaws of victory once again. This is why the Democrats are not privately worrying about the outcome of the 2010 election.

More socialism is NOT good for his constituents. It’s not good for anyone’s constituents.

I am prouder by the day I didn’t get caught up in the Scott Brown frenzy. Now Willard has a powerful friend, and I just hope Brown makes a few more democratic overtures and loses all of the conservaties who supported him. He’s the darling of the “New (RINO) GOP”.

I expected this but still gave him money. We need his vote to block the deathcare bill.

I was trying to post what I heard on the radio. I too was disappointed when I heard he voted for this bill, as I voted for Scott and donated to his campaign. I do believe he will stand firm on the health care bill and cap and trade. He should get some face time this Thursday with the dog and pony show with Obama. I am reserving judgement until then.

I know that and I agree 100%. However, this money was re-allocated from another trough. It’s not new spending. Would you rather it stay in the other pig trough or would you rather it be used by small business to grow their businesses and hopefully call some people back to work?

Use your head. Quit letting your emotions and well-placed revulsion to this entire spending debacle become the impetus for cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Or maybe you’d rather they give the $15B to ACORN?

So.....if Sheriff Joe likes JD, does that mean JD is polling well in Maricopa CO? If so, McPain must be changing his shorts every hour.

All the other republicans were too stupid to figure this out. Only snowe, collins, and voinovich were smart enough so brown joined them.
