The Gay Infiltration of the Conservative Movement
Right Side News ^ | Feb 23, 2010 | Cliff Kincaid

California Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chairman Ryan Sorba generated a media controversy when he was shown at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) denouncing the organizers for inviting a homosexual Republican group, GOProud, into the event as an official sponsor. In "controversial" remarks, Sorba said homosexuality was unnatural and that he welcomed more debate and discussion about the subject from his political adversaries.

But what many people don't realize is that Sorba's "outburst" was provoked by a speaker who preceded him, Alexander McCobin of Students For Liberty (SFL).

McCobin went out of his way to use valuable time from the podium to thank the American Conservative Union, the main CPAC organizer, for making the controversial decision to approve GOProud's participation.

David Keene, a lobbyist, is the chairman of the ACU and personally approved GOProud's involvement in CPAC.

Sorba told AIM, "I think CPAC went overboard this year. I don't think he [Keene] should be sitting at the top of CPAC." He noted that CPAC over the last several years has also allowed groups such as the ACLU to have exhibits at the event.

"What's next?," Sorba asked. "Are they going to have Republicans for Obamacare? Republicans for free abortions?"

Incredibly, McCobin of SFL told me that his group "is not a conservative organization" and that "We spent this past weekend reaching out to the left and the right at both the Young Democrats of America's convention and the Conservative Political Action Conference. We are not left or right."

If they are not conservative, Sorba asked, "What are they doing at CPAC?"

No stranger to controversy, Sorba is the author of the book, The Born Gay Hoax (this is a working draft) and was shouted down at Smith College by lesbian activists because of his support for traditional values.

In the past, CPAC allowed the ACLU to have a booth at the gathering. Keene is a money whore willing to promote any group that pays him.

Really, there need to be serious marches of “Call us homophobes, we don’t care!” Got to take the shock value of that word AWAY.

"homosexual group GOProud started crowing about their mission "

Reminds me of the Huffington's penetration of the Republican Party in California and national politics. He , a homosexual leftist Congressman (R-CA) , quickly retreated to his Democrat home when outed. Arianna of course was always a Greek Communist and had no problem fitting right in with East Coast socialists.

They say Romney basically owns CPAC. Is it any wonder there is gay sponsorship?

I really don’t see these people voting for McCain/Palin over Obama. They aren’t conservative voters. They aren’t even GOP voters. They are plants.

RINOs, unprincipled hacks, pro-aborts, pro-homosexuals, neoconfederates, isolationists, Libertarians, personality cult groupies...the GOP is becoming quite the coalition.

>if gays want to be conservatives. I’m ok with that.<

1. They cannot be conservatives or promote conservatism, even as regards fiscally and traditional constitutional interpretation, much less morally, as the former in the long term relies upon the latter, as long as they sanction or promote homosexuality.

2. The homosexuality movement relies upon deceit and its psychological tactics, and works toward censure of all opposition, and so GOPride ultimately would promote fascism, and its infiltration in the CPAC and intolerance there would be just a precursor of a larger work.

3. More critically, war against the God of the scriptures is suicidal, and America is already paying part of a much greater price for so doing, and homosexuality certainly part of that rebellion. http://peacebyjesus.witnesstoday.org/RevealingStatistics.html http://peacebyjesus.witnesstoday.org/Homosex_versus_the_Bible.html

I’d believe that Quaker guy, what’s his name? But Romney, that is beyond strange.

This type of tripe is from the fifth column in the GOP and CPAC. I say ignore it. The infiltrators want us to spin our wheels and spend a lot of time on these things thinking that we need to reorganize instead of focusing on the next election. We need to stop making this mistake of the immediate obsession and focus on the longer goal. Forward to November. Forward to victory. Don’t be distracted. Forward with Confidence!

Gays can be conservatives. As long as they are not pushing the gay agenda like the log cabiners do.

You are right.

CONSERVATIVE gays would be focused on issues of personal liberties and privacy, besides the standard plate of financial responsibility and national security. I see no problem with their inclusion.

Demanding the gay agenda of goverenment recognition and promotion of their lifestyle in any form, from special rights and legal recognition of gay marriage to inclusion in school curiculum and sex education is the LIBERAL agenda and must be immediately denounced and expelled.

It is rare to hear of gays being gay in private nowadays. No, the whole neighborhood, if not the whole town, has to know. Seems that vice has forgotten even the hypocrisy which used to be its tribute to virtue.

“Gays can be conservatives. As long as they are not pushing the gay agenda like the log cabiners do.”

Hahahhaha...you rest your case? I imagine a gay conservative would be like a straight bartender in a gay bar...he might think he is there for only one reason, but would probably be kidding himself about what it really is.
