SACRAMENTO, Calif. - California lawmakers have a history of trying to keep the state's air and waters clean. Now they're tackling language.
The state Assembly passed a resolution Thursday calling for a statewide "Cuss Free Week," to occur annually during the first week of March. It next goes to the state Senate for a final vote on Monday.

Nanny state tactics again.
I mean, this is like when we were growing up and our parents had a "cuss jar" you had to put a part of your allowance in if you were heard using bad language.
Of course, when we were kids, "shut up" and "stupid" were bad language. We didn't dare say any of that other stuff, aside from clandestine, giggly sessions at slumber parties or in the treehouse.
