Never has so much ink been so badly misused for the purpose of preventing someone as allegedly unlikely as Sarah Palin from being nominated as the Presidential candidate of a major political party.

What a delightful and thought provoking read. Lots of “ifs” in that chain of logic, but no obviously broken links.
...President Palin...It makes me4 want to vote for her for no other reason than all the LibPerv death culter freaks brains it would make explode! Bush made many of them crawl up into fetal positions in their beds...this’d have them committing suicide without even bothering to wait and try and take as many other people to Hell with them, like they usually do.

They hate her because she is so sweet and nice and likable. The pro-abortion strategy was to paint all pro-lifers as overweight, grumpy old men and celibate smarmy church ladies who want to have control over young women. They can't do that with Palin and that drives them nuts.

Two of the things that aggravate the anti-Palin gang the most: (1) the strong confident grin that lets them know that she really doesn’t care what they think (kinda reminds them of the pain they got from Reagan) and (2) the fact that despite having been in politics for years she still has enough principled fire in the belly to do some really conservative things if she gets a chance (reminds the ones that are old enough of AuH2O in ‘64).

Sarah scares the crap out of Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow and all the MSM Darlings.
They know she could be the next President of the United States.

Virtually everything that is being said about Palin was said about Reagan (excepting obvious gender references). She’s a lightweight, she’s shallow, she’s dumb, she’s sooooooo... so..... so.....
nice.
And that is the very worst thing of all. She connects. Ronald Reagan connected. Americans see her and they see a person they can kick off the shoes with and watch television with. They see a Mom that would make a great Den mother. Ladies see a girlfriend they could shop with on one day, and head out with for a beer on ladies night.
She is 100% pure Americana and it shows in everything she does and says.
Just. Like. Reagan.
The libs are scared to death of her because, again, just like Reagan, she speaks past the media shapers, the pundits, the intelligentsia and every other microphone hog in the yapping class and takes her message directly to the citizens.
They notice. They understand what she says, and they like what they hear.
I imagine Ronnie watching her right now with a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face.
He’s probably having the time of his afterlife!

Barack Obama, out after one soon-to-be-forgotten term Nobody who lived through it, and many who didn't, will ever forget Jimmy Carter. Barky is on course to make Jimmah look like Lincoln. And we still have three years left for him to destroy the country.

Your enemies are screaming to the rafters that you can't be elected precisely because, in their heart of hearts and brain of brains, they know that you can.I agree ... both Democrat and Republican enemies. I'm still waiting to hear a Republican figure explain why he's so opposed to a Sarah Palin candidacy with any reasoning other than, "But she's not ME!!!"

Because if you're a liberal Democrat facing this prospect, you're probably thinking: "The Messiah's a goner, but if we're to have a Republican president, please, God, please, anyone but Sarah Palin. Anyone but an attractive, charismatic, principled, conservative, pro-life woman."And that is exactly why they hate her.

At the end of the day, her election will hinge on her ability to show that she makes good desicions. THat will be reflected in:
1. Her record in Alaska.
2. Her personal life.
3. Her advisors.
