Common Frank, why did the Germans follow Hitler? The dummycrats are following Obumbum off the cliff for the shear power, money and politics they are promised if they all lose their jobs. Hell, one brother has already been nominated for a life time appointment to the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. We can only guess what is being promised behind closed doors!

Big deal, we will still be left to the whims of a government that seeks only to perpetuate its own power, and I don't think the Pubbies will be able to resist the temptation to get all wrapped up in the big power making decsions. They may do alot of talking about rolling it back, but nothing much will ever get done. I do hope I'm wrong, I just dont have much faith in them at this point, let's see what happens if they get back into power.

Not much longer. Tomorrow the city of San Francisco is going to lay off 15,000 employees, and hire them back as part-timers. The entire State of California is thissssssClose to not being able to make payroll. The Feds are not that far behind.

The liberals are finally running out of other people's money. We're in debt up to our eyeballs, there are unfunded liabilities in the trillions in Social Security and Medicare... it just goes on and on.

We're not five years away from truly massive federal layoffs... hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of them. There's only so much money, and it's all going to go for interest, Social Security, and Medicare. They'll hardly be able to do anything else.

These massive bureaucracies that have become such giant pains in the butt will be no more. OSHA? There won't be any money for it. The Federal Trade Commission? Who even knows what it does; off with its head. And so on down the line.

If Obama-Care DOES NOT pass, GOP will win Districts They haven’t Won since 1994.

Americans don’t want to risk having the Democrats waste time and money on another attempt to screw up the best health care system in the world.

I am sickened by all this chicanery? Aren’t these people American? I, being born somewhere else have more love for this country running through my veins than these despicable pampered legacy American leftists. I can’t sleep, I am distracted, I am so sickened by all this. November seems farther and farther away. SIGHHH!

Yes. Let us not forget that we’re talking about the Republicans who gave us such winners as Dole, McCain, etc.

Don’t assume these idiot Republicans are winners...

“We’re not five years away from truly massive federal layoffs... hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of them.”

That can be done without a loss of any essential services.

Therefore it is a very good result. Something Reagan seemed to hint towards, but never did.

Remember discussion of shutting down the Federal Dept. of Education? Good idea then, better idea now.

And the same for most federal agencies, bureaus, etc. Same goes for most state, county and city departments and agencies.

Government employees are too many, are overpaid and over pensioned.

That is precisely where to start.

The additional benefit for our freedom will/should be fewer of them to plot, conive their do-gooder measly little selves into every aspect of our lives.

Will the city be eligible for a federal hiring tax credit for those 15,000 ‘new’ employees too?

Anyone here remember the ad with the guy running around on his riding mower talking about being in debt up to his eyeballs? Just thinking how a parody of that ad could be used by the Republicans this fall---featuring Obama riding on the White House lawn atop--maybe a John Deere tractor-- passing by a lavish pool around which are lounging (Charlie Rangel style) Pelosi, Reid, and of course the ex-chairman himself in fancy lawn chairs, along with union leaders, ACORN organizers, trial lawyers, etc ......

OK, am obvioulsy NOT an ad writer, but am getting way too gleeful just thinking about the possibilities of using that ad to really show how foolhardy the government's tax and spend policies are!

The Media will make this Bill sound like the greatest thing that ever happened to this country. The drumbeat will be constant all the way to the Election.

I will believe the GOP will prevail in the November Election when the final results come in. My faith in the Electorate is lacking, even after the three wins in MA, NJ and VA.

I think I’m suffering from some sort of Abused Conservative Voter Syndrome. Maybe I need some Rehab.
