Support from his own party in doubt, President Barack Obama summoned more than a dozen House Democrats to the White House Thursday, pleading with them to put aside their qualms, seize a historic moment and vote for his massive health care overhaul.

Does anyone really believe this two-bit, tin-pot, wannabe dictator actually begged members of his party for their support? I’m betting he attempted to strong arm them.

This desperate President is simply becoming an embarassment. Begging, and thats what this is, people to pass this monster of a government takeover is obscene! When even his own party can’t hold their noses tight enough because of how bad it stinks you have a serious problem.

Truthfully, I do not want Obama to change a thing. His arrogance and the greater arrogance of Emmanual and others in his administration is waking the sleeping giant of real America up in a big way.

I’ve never seen a President try to get congress members to join a suicide pact before.

While I’m hoping and praying for a massive failure for Obummer when it comes to healthcare, I do wish conservatives would do a better job when it comes to “winning the war of words”. For example, Obummer’s plan is NOT healthcare reform-—it’s healthcare takeover.

Most everybody is for reform, no matter what the issue. The American sheeple are easily led. But this is not reform, it’s socialism, plain and simple.

BHO:

Please, just seize! (as in stop in place,
halt operation, no longer function, edited,
quit function, go no further, op-stay-op-way,
STFU&Q, enter no-op loop, diddle in place, etc....)

Agree. It’s like reconciliation which they should be calling the nuclear option.

Just tweaking this a bit so it reads correctly....

Obama pleaded with Demo’s to put aside their qualms,....
to seize (His) historic moment.....
vote for (His) massive health care overhaul.....
It’s the opportunity of (His) generation he told them....
a chance to revive (His) agenda...
after (His) rough first year in office.....

In back-to-back meetings in the Oval Office and Roosevelt Room, Obama (begged) uneasy rank-and-file moderates and progressives to focus on what (he wants) rather than their deep disappointment with parts of the bill.

Obama assured them the legislation was merely the first step, and he promised to work with them in the future to improve its provisions. (Har Har Har)

“The president very pointedly talked about how important this is (for Him) historically,” said Rep. Raul Grijalva, D-Ariz., “how he needs our help.” Obama told them that “’this is an opportunity, it’ll give (ME) momentum’” on other issues, the congressman said.

This desperate President is simply becoming an embarassment.

Funny, I can't imagine how he could fail! After all, He has years of experience having no responsibility, executive training or other relevant experience, position of leadership, or any other qualification. Surely, he should be a huge success in Washington DC!

Another who attended, moderate Rep. Joe Crowley, D-N.Y., said, "I think when all is said and done we will have the votes to pass health care reform."

Moderate? Obama got 80 % of the vote in his Bronx district. He's about as "moderate" as F. Castro.

Its crap like this that pisses me off about AP. Propagandists.

It's going to be interesting to see how many Congressional Democrats choose self-preservation over ideology.

If you think the answer is obviously self-preservation, take a moment to consider the old media.
