In recent days the Justice Department has been getting angry phone calls about the "Qaeda" lawyers supposedly hired by Attorney General Eric Holder. The reason? An unusually ferocious Web ad by Liz Cheney's advocacy group, Keep America Safe, targeting Justice lawyers who previously did pro bono work for Guantánamo detainees. The ad—in one frame, a headline refers to the DOJ as the "Department of Jihad"—has been denounced as McCarthyism by liberal critics. It's also being condemned by a growing number of former George W. Bush administration lawyers. Ted Olson, who served as Bush's solicitor general, says he has the "greatest respect" for lawyers who represented Gitmo clients; they were acting "consistent with the finest traditions of the legal profession," he says. He calls the attacks on one of the targets, Deputy Solicitor General Neal Katyal, "outrageous." Four years ago, Katyal represented Salim Ahmed Hamdan, Osama bin Laden's former driver, in a landmark Supreme Court case that overturned the military tribunals that Bush created. Well there are lawyers that respect their profession and there are those that don’t.
From what I’ve seen so far of Obambi, Holder, Axelrod, Gibbs, the “czars” and the rest of the traitors who have seized the White House, it wouldn’t surprise me to learn DoJ has Bin Laden working in the basement.
Ted Olsen has turned out to be a real schmuck.

A "growing number" and they mention one single lawyer? And Ted Olson has become, I am sorry to say, quite erratic recently.
We are being taken over bit by bit and Liz Cheney is just pointing it out to the people that haven't quite woken up yet.
They should just banish everyone named “Bush” into the scrap heap of the Democrat Party. The whole blasted family are just Political Hacks. They “believe” in government, to the extent they run it; they think Democrats can be dealt with sanely; and they are in NO way Conservative. Screw ‘em
Ted Olson has lost his marbles.
Ted Olson is a respected conservative lawyer of great skill, integrity and intellect. He helped Bush win the Florida vote challenge. Sorry, but I will take his judgement over Ms. Cheney on this one.
Liz Cheney is great. The Marxists ALWAYS hate the truth, and they will always go after those prophets who dare to speak the truth. As they always have.

When a formerly vicious media comes at you with fawning eyes and a friendly smile I guess the temptation to tell em what they want to hear is overwhelming.
The Obama administration is FULL of people with demonstrated sympathies for enemies of this country. They are doing their level best to tear it down & rebuild it in their image.
ANYTHING that thwarts or slows this process is OK with me.

So the lawyers who sprung Bin Ladin’s bodyguard and worked to overthrow the military tribunals are now inside Justice working to prosecute CIA, shut down Guantanamo, throw out military tribunals, and supposedly are to be trusted with classified data as they “prosecute” more Al Qaeda.
But if you complain, you are intolerant.
Why, yes, I believe on this score they are right. The situation is intolerable. I don’t think I should have to tolerate it.
