Nothing in the United States Constitution empowers the Federal Government to become as involved in people lives as this bill would enable to happen.
Why does NO ONE say this!
Put the U.S. Constitution away, out of view if it is not going to be used and we will heed our other cherished document, the Declaration of Independence.
It has the perscription for what to do with an over reaching government.

I guess he really meant he’ll get around to that sometime when his ongoing health-care soap-opera wraps up....

Retiring Rep. Bart Gordon (D-Tenn.) voted against the House bill but said in a statement March 4 . . .
that the presidents proposal is moving in a more fiscally responsible direction.
I am still trying to figure out how anyone can intellectually say something of this nature. They have to and are being asked to vote up or down on the "Senate" version.
No where in that version is the president's proposals PLUS . . .
They have to vote for the premiums on the "cadillac insurance"
Stearn and his minions get to pay extra !!
It will never be fixed because the American people will not accept any ammendment of that nature in future bills

Well looking at that roll call, looks like a net loss of -5 to -7 for Pelosi. Altmire wll not vote for the bill, it would be a death sentence for his career. He sounds like Howdy Doody and the joke up here is he looks and acts like a marionette. I'd say that 198-200 votes yes is a good guess, 17 votes is alot to makeup. If there is no vote by Easter recess it's dead. So everyday we don't see Pelosi calling for a vote is a good thing. I expect by end of next week, the fervor in the MSM about getting this done to reach fever pitch with almost hourly stories of its inevitability, how “A Deal” has been reached.

Haven’t we learned by now? This manufactured “suspense” is a farce. Nobody is really changing their stance, except in districts where it will reduce damage for the demonocrats, provided the bill itself passes.
The demoncrats move as one. There are no “moderates” who are on the fence.
The American public is once again being played. They already have the votes. The fix is already in. Wake up everyone.
