Sarah Palin raising cash for John McCain
Politico ^ | 3/8/10 | Andy Barr

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is helping out her former running mate with a high dollar fundraiser at the Arizona Biltmore.

Palin will be courting contributions for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) – the GOP’s 2008 presidential nominee – on March 23 as part of her swing through Arizona to aide his re-election campaign.

For $2,500, McCain donors can attend an hour-long reception with the former GOP vice presidential nominee and get a chance for a picture with Palin.

Those not attending the reception can pay $500 each for a two-hour dinner, or $1,000 for preferred seating.

Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.), along with Arizona GOP Reps. Jeff Flake, Trent Franks and John Shadegg will also be at the fundraiser.

Sorry, that "ain't" the way it works in a democracy. There will be a lot of candidates in 2012, including several we're probably not looking at right now.

And if your great hope can't stand a little friendly criticism, then she doesn't deserve the office in the first place. And FR has shown for a long time that it can tolerate a pretty broad cross section of ideas, so perhaps it is you who needs to find another site.

Pass the Kleenex. Do you seriously buy all this BS

"Not able to feel the heat" is an emotionally based response that can't be measured.

" paying taxes to defend her against frivilous lawsuits." is a measurable and verifiable reason that can be made with no emotional interjection.

Sabe's reasoning- which was given by Palin's camp is measurable and verifiable. Your reasoning is strictly emotional and can't be verified by any factual measurement.

Then it should be protrayed as such, esp. by her campaign, and not as an enthusiastic endorsement of McLame. Again, there is a smart way and a not-smart way of doing anything.

Sarah Palin’s political power in the Republica party comes for the most part from people that are sick and tired of the crap McCain has pulled over the years.

If they are so sick and tired of the crap McCain has pulled over the years, as you claim, then why are they giving political power to someone who is helping to perpetuate McCain's ability to continue pulling MORE crap?

You were saying ...

What do you want to do with the tiny minority of members of this forum who do not support Sarah Palin? I am one of them. May be you should petition the owner of this forum to ban us all, we are not needed on this forum and for certain we will not impact at all his fundraising. He can start with me.

You don't have to get rabid or insistent about it. Sarah Palin is one of the good guys that we have. So, there's no use beating up on her. If you have an objection then stating it without going gangbusters on it would be fine.

But, when it turns into a Palin-hating-group (which I seem to see here with some)... that's just crazy.

What I see is that some here look for every opportunity to pounce on Palin, just like the Romney-bots have done to her and like the liberals like to do all the time. There's no call for that. Just take it easy... :-)

Those are the Republican stalwarts. True Blue. On a list of ten favored successors to Goldwater's seat J.D. Hayworth would come in at number 20.

“Jim Click is the son-in-law of Holmes Tuttle who, with Justin Dart and a handful of others saw Reagan as a man who could be Governor and President. They put their faith (and money) behind him.”

Yes, and now Jim Click is an open borders RINO POS!

Holmes Tuttle, notwithstanding.

Your Sarah Palin bashing either directly or
your so called guilt by association with McCain is
getting old.
You voted in 2008 for Chuck Baldwin, an anti war, 9/11 Truther.
Your use of sources by these people are not Conservative

Your Ron Paul stating Iran and North Korea are not a threat.
Ron Paul says, leave Iran alone. He voted against condemning Ahmadinejad. This is a Neo Leftist.

SarahPac gave money to:

Jim DeMint, R SC
Doug Hoffman of the NY 23rd campaign
Marsha Blackburn, R TN
Michelle Bachmann, R Minn.
John Thune R So.D.
Tom Coburn R OK

This isn't really something new is it? LOL ...

It's not like we didn't know that this was happening. :-) I mean, with some Sarah Palin threads here, you would think that something "catastrophic" happened...

What has been said about her here on FR by her attackers goes far beyond a "little friendly criticism."

You were saying ...

If McAmnesty is re-elected, Sarah will be as popular as ants at a picnic.

It wouldn't present any problems to me, voting for her..., if she gets around to running for some political office.

Oh please. Its this slack cutting thing that disturbs me. Did you cut the RINO Romney slack for backing Mc
Cain?

This is my problem. Your eyes are wide shut. I actually like the woman Palin, but her political tactics lately are disturbing.

She needs to be taking on serious issues and building a serious conservative candidacy. You don’t do that by backing McCain and doing Jay Lenos monologue. Even though she was quite good at it.

If Palin is also tired of the McCain tactics, she would be more agreeable to you if she wasn’t out there trying to get this POS reelected. Yes?

She is no friend if she is raising money for Juan MCCain. He is as bad as Obama. What is she thinking? Screw the loyalty arguement too.

LOL... you're crazy, by that implication and connection, making Sarah Palin "as bad as Obama"...

I thought the "Obama Derangement Syndrome" crowd was crazy, but when people start exhibiting both "ODS" and Palin Derangement Syndrome at the same time, then it's time to head for the doctor... :-)

You voted for McCain, a pro-bailout, pro-amnesty, pro-cap-and-tax, anti-Constitution, anti-freedom, anti-liberty, anti-POW/MIA, pro-Obama tool.

Horsebucky! For the most part, it has been reasoned, thoughtful, and penetrating. Keep trying to get anyone who is critical of Palin banned. I ordered more popcorn ;-)
