The White House promised a hard pivot to jobs and the economy almost three months ago, attempting to put the ObamaCare debate on the back burner after the holidays. They had belatedly discovered that the electorate was much more concerned about the economic plunge than in retooling a health-care system that works for most Americans now. Instead of the hard pivot, Democrats have doubled down on ObamaCare and the latest Rasmussen survey shows that a strong majority believe it to be the wrong direction on both issues:
Fifty-seven percent (57%) of voters say the health care reform plan now working its way through Congress will hurt the U.S. economy.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 25% think the plan will help the economy. But only seven percent (7%) say it will have no impact. Twelve percent (12%) arent sure.

DAMN THE POLLS! FULL SPEED AHEAD!.......................
translation: 43% of Americans have the economic IQ of a turnip
You think it's bad now? Just wait and see what happens if they let this monster loose.
I’m not part of that 57%, because I think it will DESTROY the economy.
Will?
RATs can take this to their empty bank:
November, you’re out; November, RATs are TOAST. We The People vow to scrub the RAT sewer that is this Congress clean.
Since they are just turnips, it's easy for me to manipulate the subject of conversation to an area I feel more comfy in the dirt w/them.
"..can't we all just get along?"
I never understood how a conservative can have liberals as his best friends.
I did have one very liberal friend once. Like most liberal women I think she initially came by it honestly due to having a compassionate nature. Then she went to a very liberal college in Boston, and sort of got hooked into leftist social and economic values of living in Massachusetts.
Unfortunately she passed away far too young, partly as a result of her liberal lifestyle choices.
It would appear that those poll answerers saying "no" were outright lying...because they don't care and want their freebies irrespective of the overall adverse consequence to the nation.
Senator Dodd says people are coming around and supporting Obamacare. Not sure how he comes up with that. This poll certainly doesn’t show that.
Dittos. I can’t stand to be around them.
If I was a giant , I would eat a liberal every day, just so I could watch myself sh_t the liberal out the next .
Low ball figure...when the Seniors get their Medicare cut and gutted, and NO COLAs for 3 years, and increased Medicare premiums it’s going to be nearer to 75%.
Code Red - House Target List on Health Care
The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obamas announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the fixer bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.
