Oh, man, Hannity has worn so thin on me. I wish there was something else to listen to at the 3:00 hour. How he maintains his audience is a mystery to me other than the fact that there’s just nothing else to listen to.

Beck is a good example of the old saying, “A little knowledge is a dangerous thing”. He is finally finding out things most of us already knew, and acting like he discovered them. He has the enthusiasm of the convert and goes overboard at times because he gets so excited at his own “new” knowledge. I like Beck, but he really needs to calm down. He also needs to tell O’Reilly to STFU and stop mocking him.

So he should talk to only the most informed and leave everybody else out?

“Rush Limbaugh. - someone who stays consistently on message without ranting around looking like a fool.”

How easy we forget the two days of Limbaugh's show when he said he will be voting for Bill Clinton, after giving it serious thought. And then he explained the reasons why he thought Clinton was the better candidate.
90% of the callers did not get that the two shows was pure sarcasm, but callers one after the other told him they were not going to listen to him again. And he just let them hang there. It wasn't until the third day when he explained why he did that. If I remember right he was trying to prove that his listeners were not just robots with no mind of their own. But still it was a very very odd week in Limbaugh history.

No, Michelle was right! Beck spent the next 10 minutes apologizing. That gal is savvy and smart.

He was only apologizing for snapping at her. She wasn’t right.

+1 what you said ... right on the nose.

I test drove Beck for a few minutes at a time, and felt like he was preaching or talking down to me — just didn’t care for him or his style.

Rush I have listened to for as long as he has been on the air, and I am a longtime 24/7 member. Rush’s show is content, content, content, even tho he definitely has a showman’s/entertainer’s delivery, which I have no problem with.

NATIONAL Socialist WORKERS Party;
11. That all unearned income, and all income that does not arise from work, be abolished.

Breaking the Bondage of Interest

12. Since every war imposes on the people fearful sacrifices in blood and treasure, all personal profit arising from the war must be regarded as treason to the people We therefore demand the total confiscation of all war profits.

13. We demand the nationalization of all trusts.

14. We demand profit-sharing in large industries.

15. We demand a generous increase in old-age pensions.

16. We demand the creation and maintenance of a sound middle-class, the immediate communalization of large stores which will be rented cheaply to small tradespeople, and the strongest consideration must be given to ensure that small traders shall deliver the supplies needed by the State, the provinces and municipalities.

17. We demand an agrarian reform in accordance with our national requirements, and the enactment of a law to expropriate the owners without compensation of any land needed for the common purpose. The abolition of ground rents, and the prohibition of all speculation in land.

18. We demand that ruthless war be waged against those who work to the injury of the common welfare. Traitors, usurers, profiteers, etc., are to be punished with death, regardless of creed or race.

19. We demand that Roman law, which serves a materialist ordering of the world, be replaced by German common law.

20. In order to make it possible for every capable and industrious German to obtain higher education, and thus the opportunity to reach into positions of leadership, the State must assume the responsibility of organizing thoroughly the entire cultural system of the people The curricula of all educational establishments shall be adapted to practical life. The conception of the State Idea (science of citizenship) must be taught in the schools from the very beginning. We demand that specially talented children of poor parents, whatever their station or occupation, be educated at the expense of the State.

21. The State has the duty to help raise the standard of national health by providing maternity welfare centers, by prohibiting juvenile labor, by increasing physical fitness through the introduction of compulsory games and gymnastics, and by the greatest possible encouragement of associations concerned with the physical education of the young.

22. We demand the abolition of the regular army and the creation of a national (folk) army.

23. We demand that there be a legal campaign against those who propagate deliberate political lies and disseminate them through the press. In order to make possible the creation of a German press, we demand:

(a) All editors and their assistants on newspapers published in the German language shall be German citizens.

(b) Non-German newspapers shall only be published with the express permission of the State. They must not be published in the German language.

(c) All financial interests in or in any way affecting German newspapers shall be forbidden to non-Germans by law, and we demand that the punishment for transgressing this law be the immediate suppression of the newspaper and the expulsion of the nonGermans from the Reich.
...........................

What we are up against.

He absolutely said on this show yesterday that Gert Wilders
of the Netherlands was on the Right and in Europe that means
Fascist. He is wrong.

That’s interesting, because I used to like both Levin and Beck. Then, I found Mark Levin unable to complete a single show without going on a childish (and substance free) rant about Glenn Beck and stopped listening to him. It’s unfortunate, because I have great respect for Levin’s mind.

I think that is Levin's shtick, insults and cutting off callers. Levin would be better off being a little nicer to his conservative brethren, we are all on the same team...sans Savage who I can take for 10 minutes only.

She couldn’t even defend her side. She was using circular logic. First, he was trying to save his job, then Glenn pointed out that his job was gone. Then, she says that if he was still in congress, making her first assertion a possibility, that she would believe him.

I don’t know where you guys get this stuff. There are plenty of bones to pick with Glenn Beck, but he’s dead right here and Michelle is not only wrong, she’s embarrassingly wrong. It is an indefensible position to assert the notion that Beck is doing something wrong by having Massa on his show.

Sorry- I don’t care much for Beck though I appreciate the attention he’s brought to some issues that needed it- he’s just way too emotional and unhinged for my tastes.

The interview wasn’t either one of them at their best.

Name one member of Congress Beck says he trusts and respects and we should vote for. He says they’re all crooks and we shouldn’t trust anybody. Scott Brown hadn’t found where the men’s room in the Senate was before Glenn started calling him “progressive lite.” Nuance isn’t is Beck’s vocabulary or mindset. He makes the perfect the enemy of the good. He can’t condemn Obama and the Democrats without saying “Bush and the Republicans too”. So who’s left? They’re all progressives! Look under your beds, you people!

Yesterday he practically called Geert Wilders of The Netherlands a fascist, for wanting to end Muslim immigration to Holland. Someone’s got to him..
