Delegates Say They Want to Send a Strong Message to White House
RICHMOND, Va. - Virginia's General Assembly is the first in the nation to approve legislation that bucks any attempt by President Barack Obama and Congress to implement the national health care overhaul in states like Virginia...
No, you’re just confused. Does the government have the power to prevent you from buying health care? No. Should they have that power? No. Why? Because it is YOUR RIGHT as a free person to purchase it. You seem to confuse rights with entitlements.
Thing is, if the bill becomes law they can’t opt out. Fed law trumps.
And the Fedgov will move to force Virginia back in line.

Now lets get the other 56 to join in.
“For a silver lining in a very dark cloud thats not bad.”
Sometimes we need to look really hard for a silver lining...but this one, is quite evident. I agree with our other points in context.
—”Pre-emptive strike.”
**”Is this good?”
I guess I’m just sayin’ that they are prepping for a counter attack, should this horrible bill be crammed down our throats.
I kind of agree with Huck that other than symbolism, unless we take action to push toward a Constitutional amendment, this probably won’t amount to much other than some splashy news.
Let’s hope for something of more substance and teeth. The Supreme’s could still rule that the monstrosity is unConstitutional.
I know that Michigan has it in the chambers BUT..we have a tiny problem. The —— we have for a governor would never sign it.
You have no idea what many up here in the snow country are talking about. And it aint about tea and cookies either. And I write this in all honesty. The woodsmen are really getting up in arms..literally.
I will tell you one thing though. If this goes like I believe it will go, anyone from any state that votes for nullification will never have to buy a drink for themselves around us..and they better not think they’ll get away without a snoot full.
Lets hope they all pass and the remaining states to follow suit!!
This is encouraging.
Thanks. GOOD MESSAGE from the Judge!
It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people The final collapse has come with the election of Barrack Obama

I’m from VA. Very hard to live there and comply with all the laws. Sales tax. State income tax. Personal property tax (not to be confused with “property tax”). Vehicle inspections (won’t even inspect without current “county sticker”, which is a sticker you get when you pay the personal property tax on your vehicle). Not an easy state to live in, but I guess it keeps the riff raff out.
Is this the state standing up for the 10th Amendment?
ROFL truly LOL TY!!!
~Dat’s cus your guuuud :)
I think you’re the one confusing rights with entitlements.
Then we need to have that little revolution ! -g-
~Makes sense to me
