Naaah. It’s still pretty much a red state with the exception of the People’s Republic of Northern Virginia. There is a difference between your average Virginia Democrat (from outside the PRNV) and one hailing from hailing from Cali or the northeastern wastelands. In actuality, many of our Democrats are about as conservative as the average yankee Republican.
In large part, they populate the north. We have a lot of blacks here in Hampton Roads, but overall, many Virginians have awakened to the mistake made on 4 Nov 2008.
