I'm Ready to Purge All Liberals from my Life (vanity)
TruthHound

Posted on 03/18/2010 4:54:45 PM PDT by TruthHound

The pretending has got to stop. I've HAD IT with every single Liberal/Democrat in my life. I don't care if you're an Aunt, Cousin, neighbor or a life-long friend. I don't care that we go to the same church, coach my son's basketball or if we have kids that hang out together.

There's no longer room in my life for you or anyone who would associate themselves with those who are purposefully dismantling the country my children will have to live in.

I'm ready to post to Facebook that what's going on in our Government in broad daylight should bring nothing but SHAME and DISGUST to anyone with a lick of sense. And if you voted for Øbama or any of the Congressional crotch-fruit who is breaching the oath they took to uphold the U.S. Constitution, you can go straight to HELL! Un-friend me now.

To overtly disenfranchise the 2/3rds of us who can see the corrupt action this week as the Coup d'état that is is unconscionable. Not to mention the rest of the SOCIALIST ECONOMIC BULLSHIT they've shoved down our throats this past year.

I'm drawing a line. You're on my side or theirs. No more co-existence. Your complacency with this destruction is great. It's on your head. You might as well just drop trou, squat and dump a steaming pile on the collective graves of every American who fought to preserve freedom in this country.

You are so very right truth hound. The liberals have openly hated (yes, I mean they have hated us deeply) for many years. Now, as far as I am concerned, it is very mutual!

"I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them."

Works for me.

I believe you’re referring to an episode of Star Trek “The Omega Glory.” You can watch it online at the NBC site.

I hear you. I have a Catholic priest in mine that I have no use for.

Me, too. Including the priest who married me and my first wife. I despised him from the start, with his social justice anti-corporate attitude (in impoverished Ohio Appalachia, no less.)

I hear ya. It’s hard to be on the outs with the majority of the family. The grandkids just roll their eyes at how old-fashioned we are. It’s very sad. We cannot possibly be smarter than their teachers, parents, friends, you know.

Family members were killing each other in wholesale numbers 150 years ago...

I cant completely kick them out of my life because my buss. is also dependent on these brain-dead morons. Believe me, there were so many times that I wanted to strangle them, but for the sake of my wallet and as a professional, I cannot.

It will be tough to watch them grow up as government slaves... :-(

I feel the same way. When Bush was first elected, during the campaign, I ended a 12 yr friendship ( it started as a normal discussion of the issues, then at one point I was called a “Nazi”, rationally I fired back “You f...g commie!). We have not talked since then, for me there is no feeling of “loss”.

There are former friends who have invited me to their Tennessee mountain home for the last few years ( we occasionally email). I don’t go because they are flaming Libs and I wouldn’t last 2 hrs, no matter how beautiful the scenery.

I visited my cousin and left after one day when she trashed our country, haven’t spoken to her in several years. No problem.

It is for me now not that we disagree on “politics” or a specific issue. It is that we disagree on such basic values ( indvidual freedom, gun rights to defend myself, their belief in the entitlement society, their believing that socialism is “good for people”, and their belief that America is NOT an exceptional-—THE best—country. ).

There is one more reason I can not be with them...their emotional refusal to have a logical, point by point discussion to discuss the realities of different views. Too many times, they a) get hysterical or name call or b) walk away as I try to make a rebuttal in the most calm and open way.

I work with a LOT of Libs. I don’t talk politics with them because it would be ME that would get really stressed. I have a couple acquaintences and our different views I am able to dismiss their perspective because they have been so brainwashed.,,, for at least 40 years.

But my circle is narrowing. Sometimes I can influence people, but overall I am too emotional when I try to go there.

Liberals in my circle are a target with a big ass dot in the center of their head. Meetings, teleconferences, video conferences, emails etc.. if I spot one I rip them a new one in front of everyone with no problem. When in public I do the same.

Don’t purge them.. humiliate them every chance you get. It’s why I go to work every day and come home with a smile on my face.

Actually, posting on Facebook a conservative position will PO them. My liberal sister was always complaining because Sarah Palin showed on her sidebar, when I joined a Sarah Palin group.
When I posted an article about the horrors of socialized medicine in Great Britain she posted snarky comments. I would respond and she delete her comments - it looked like I was talking to myself.
I temporarily closed my Facebook. When I returned, I announced that this would be used by me “first and foremost for following campaigns AND I was a conservative not ever to be reformed. Leave if you are uncomfortable, it will not hurt my feeling.”
Some did leave. I was relieved and felt liberated.

I don’t pick my friends by their politics. Unconservatives (traitors) can be great fun as long as they don’t talk about politics. It’s fun making fun of them in ways they can’t understand.

But yes, line them up against the wall after the party is over, including the long-forgotten priests who urged church attendees to pray for OBL (not the USA) the weekend after 9/11/2001.

When is the party over? For you, apparently it’s now. We all need the same sort of deadline. Good post.

In total agreement with you. I have never really understood how you could be friends with someone who
hates everything you beleive in. It kind of reminds me of the old cartoon where the Rooster and the dog chase each other and at the end of the cartoon they punch out time time cards on a time clock and say goodbye to each other and see ya in the morning. It’s nuts
