Democrats in Washington are determined to ram their agenda through Congress and - possibly as soon as this weekend - transform national health care from liberal dream into legislative reality. To do so, they are willing to ignore:
But never mind the noisy din of the rabble; the Democrats have convinced themselves that the public is too stupid to know what is good for them, and that once the bill passes, Congress will be showered with thanks from a grateful nation that suddenly will have discovered what wonders the Democrats have bestowed on them. Has there ever been a more reckless, delusional disregard for public opinion in the history of our democracy?

Thanks for helping to ruin the country. Thanks a lot. I hope it hurts bad. Have a nice day. Now get to work.
I bet you’re a Christian too.
A much better historical example is Texas. The people in Texas were satisfied with Mexico until the Santa Anna was elected, became a dictator and eliminated the Constitution.
It was then that the revolution began. Texas provides a much better model for emulation in the present than the original founding of the USA.
The Texans who revolted and became leaders were not all the patricians like those who led the 1776 revolution but salt of the earth near broke patriots
Amen brother.
Once the trucks stop running on I 95, the libtards in yankee land are doomed
Look, you picked that name. There must be a reason for it. ‘Me thinks’ you’re proud of it or something. It is disgusting, at least to me. You used to be a democratic whore, why advertise it? Your cathartic user name requires me to do something, that is to deal with your past. You ask to much.
These socialists believe that the American people are behind him, and why wouldn’t they, considering MOST election returns for the past eighty years?
Thanks for making me feel welcome. Leaving now.
You’re just not ready. Get a new name. Get a clean break from the past....There is nothing about your past (politically) that you should hang on to, no association at all. Nothing good about it. Nothing to be gained. We are in the struggle of our lives.
Classy.
Wonder who the Baltimore Sun endorsed in the last election.
These writers wouldn’t be so shocked if they had been paying attention for the last twenty years.
Jimmy Carter brought us Reagan. After that they were having telethons to raise money for the dems because the party was in that bad a shape. Celebrities were on T.V. begging for money to make sure “we have two parties”. If we survive until this November we will have another “Reagan” in 2012. This may be a blessing in disguise.
By the way, Savage hates Pelosi, too. But I don’t believe O got in ‘cause the people wanted to teach the republicans a lesson. He got in because a lot of voters are idiots and fell for the “feel good” speeches. That and the fact that W ushered him in.
Oh, were RABBLE now? I thought we were CITIZENS participating in the American Process.
KEEP THE CALLS UP! DC OFFICE LOCAL OFFICE
Hold your own street protest in front of your reps local offices. Or busy street corners. Try and get the local media to cover it. Hammer the Medicare/SS issue, nothing like mad grannies and gramps.
This is from a 2007 contact list of congressional aides. Some might not be there any longer, but worth a try. The ones on the one post are senate aides, a few have bounced back, its worth the effort to clog up their email system along with the phones, and 1/3rd of these senators are up for re-election.
Mail must be inspected for anthrax takes 2 weeks, so if you snail mail send a post card

CODE RED Contact list http://www.nrcc.org/CodeRed/targets/
Remember they are all being offered BRIBES for their votes. Ask them how much their bribe price is.
The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obamas announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the fixer bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Sunday March 21st.
Good idea from the bloggers at Hillbuzz:

They offer specifics and links on how to put pressure on Dem DONORS, who have private numbers for legislators who may have taken their phones off the hook.

And here are toll-free numbers we can use to call any Senators or Reps.
At the first number below you must wait through a tape recording urging you to tell your Rep or Senator to vote yes for the health care bill. Just hang on and when the recording is over, you will get the Capitol operator. Just ask for your Rep or Senators office. Then you will either talk to an aid or have the chance to leave a message for him/her to vote NO on the health care bill.
When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senators office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senators answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the time...to go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!
We need to use these toll free numbers that have been set up for the health care/ BO supporters and illegals to use! After all they are FREE!

Understand the frustration because I feel it too. I worked on many in my family until I was blue in the face and in the end couldn’t stand to talk to them for months following the election. I just want to make sure we don’t turn anyone off. We will need everything we can get. In order to get this admin to take notice, we need Bob McDonnell numbers (and I know you know what I am talking about with your screen name).
These self identifying ex-democrats have a special obligation IMO. “NOLONGERADEMOCRAT” come on, get real. This is an anonymous site, that user id was created for a reason. There must be some baggage there, needs to be tested. I’m not saying they are ex-nazi’s but.....
