According to news reports, Barack Obama is scheduled to go to Capitol Hill this afternoon to lobby the House Democrat caucus to support his takeover of the American healthcare system.

Latest reports show that there are still three dozen or more undecided Democrats.

With Obama traveling to Capitol Hill while thousands of Tea Party Patriots are expected to be there at the same time, the Patriots will have a great chance to bring their message directly to Obama and the Democrats by surrounding them (as best as possible) at the Cannon House Office Building.

Obama was due to meet Democratic lawmakers in the ornate Cannon House caucus room at 3:00 pm (1900 GMT) Saturday, along with Senate Democratic Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Patriots should plan to start 'surrounding' the Cannon Building at 2 p.m. The Capitol Police will establish a security perimeter, but there's no reason Patriots should not not be seen and heard by Obama and the Democrats.

One of the things that’s wrong with this country. The “people” should be able to stop the motorcade from even arriving. But in this day and age we couldn’t stop Pelosi’s chief of staff without being arrested.

Amen! That was my point, too, D_c. As in most freedom movements agains totalitarianism in our time, like in Timisoara and in Bucharest, in Prague and Bratislava and Budapest and Berlin, in Beiing, and in Chongjin, in Tegucigalpa and Caracas it arises up unrestrained from an outraged people who have literally and figuratively "Seen Red". But, often their "leaders"(in the case of the US, talk show hosts of the garden variety you named by name), while good and serving purpose, are noethelss nowhere to be found when it borders on civil disobedience--except maybe on the airwaves, and they tend to stand back and take a continuous temperature of the situation and wait until critical mass is reached, and THEN step into a leadershp role and *lead the troops*, standing at the front of it all. Many (not all!) are tea leave readers and won't put it on the line when they can and should. Many of these talk show hosts don't have much respect from me in that regard. I expect these men and women, all of them, because of the vast influence they have, to be right up there among the people today in D.C., and risking their careers, their sacred honors, if they have to commit "C.D. in D.C." to make the point. They have private planes. They can get to National or Dulles or Baltimore on a dime. Why do they just hold off and watch how it goes and THEN make a stand when they see the crowds are large enough for them safely to step in smiling for the cameras and seizing the mantle. What a bunch of Johnny and Jane Come Lately charlatans. "Talk show hosts". Sheesh. Talk. Talk. Talk. Talk. Talk. And MORE talk.

If you ask me, they spout good rhetoric, but personally they are too comfortable and will not walk the walk when push comes to shove. Yeah. Let "George" do it.

I can’t be there today. The Fred Phelps freep is tomorrow, but today the chapter will also be at the Arlington Cemetery traffic circle to mark the anniversary of the Iraq war.

Sorry to say the only way to gain attention would be to use the very very sucessful tacticts of the left back at them. This would involve breaking the law which at this point would be necessary. I am for civil disorder . it’s the LEAST we need to do .
