There’s a large very long term fire awaiting most of them.
I have three beautiful babies. The oldest wrote “I love you” on the floor of my office in cat food today. She knew I was having a really rotten day.
I’ve never felt anything like what I’m feeling today. Not even on 9/11. It’s hard to even look at my girls without crying.
Everybody talks about the increase in federal spending. Nobody mentions the unfunded mandate created by forcing people to purchase insurance when they don’t want it!

I for the life of me don’t get how Freepers keep saying, “Remember November”, like we will be able to change this.

Just gather enough evidence to show that he still retains political ties to Kenya and his involvement in Kenyan politics (i.e. - his stumping for Odinga) and then find a Congressman with enough cojones to bring charges against him.
It is best to do this once the majority of DemonRats in Congress and the Senate have been voted out.

Today is a rotten day (similar to Election Night 2008), but we both gotta keep it together to consider what we’ll do next!
I know exactly what you mean. After the vote went down, I went outside and looked at the sky. I had the thought this this wasn’t a sky over America anymore, and there is no America now, and it felt like America just disappeared into the night’s sky, and now I was standing on someone else’s land, someone else’s home, and I could never go home again.
I will forever look at others as strangers, wondering, “Whose side were you on the night it all disappeared?”
This is the night that Ben Franklin feared when he replied to the question as to what they, the founders had given us, “A republic, if you can hold it.” We failed. We failed to stop the media from destroying George Bush to the point that America thirsted for Democrat rule. The media started the Reichstag fire, and we stood by without even lunging for a water hose.
I wonder if the texting generation who voted for Zero because he shoots hoops and talks jive realizes what just happened to them.
If we are too cowardly to ignore this legislation, with violates the enumeration of powers set forth in Article 1 Section 8, then we do not deserve our freedom.
Oh, and all you guys from a few months ago who kept telling us to chill out because the Senate bill had no chance of passing the House, and I kept telling you it would pass the House in short order, kiss my rump and pay up!

A couple of things. Lindsey Grahamnesty (whom I loathe) said that if healthcare passes, “immigration reform” aka amnesty is dead. That made sense after I heard someone on Fox today say that a Democrat friend in the House told him that healthcare was the last tough vote Obama was going to get from him. So I don’t know. I guess we’ll see. In the meantime, keep the powder dry.
It’s time for more than just voting them out this time. It has to be more, or this will just be forgotten and accepted by the majority just like every other damn socialist program we already have in place.
