Finally we agree, basically. But there is another way, and one that has happened many times - the Supreme Court revisits a bad decision and corrects it. We need more of that if we are to ever escape from under the corrupt decisions of the Roosevelt era Court.
Well I tend to agree with you, but depending on how the Supreme Court rules on the 10th Amendment they could create a precedence having far reaching consequences, that is all I am saying. I would like the result of Obamacare to be the reigning in of the Federal Government by the Supreme Court. I would love the irony.
Yeah, I think that the states can “take back” some of the 10th Amendment rights, and I think they have already been doing it, in a limited fashion, already. But, I don’t ever think that we’ll find it being the same 10th Amendment understanding as was in place before the Civil War... that changed everything, for the 10th Amendment, and we’re not going back to where things were before the Civil War, no matter what people think here.
You are probably right, but we can get the 10th Amendment a lot closer to where it was before the Civil War.
Yeah, I think we can get it a lot closer, too...
If your next door neighbor rapes your wife, does that mean you have to let the guy across the street have a turn, too?
