Gregoire attacks McKenna's plan to sue over health-care law (Washington State)
The Seattle Times ^ | March 22, 2010 | Jim Brunner

Gov. Chris Gregoire lashed out Monday afternoon at Attorney General Rob McKenna's decision to join a multistate lawsuit challenging the health-care legislation just approved by Congress.

(snip)

"I don't know who he represents. He doesn't represent me," Gregoire said

(snip)

McKenna said he believes the health-care measure's requirement that everyone buy health insurance is unconstitutional.

"I believe this new federal health care measure unconstitutionally imposes new requirements on our state and on its citizens. This unprecedented federal mandate, requiring all Washingtonians to purchase health insurance, violates the Commerce Clause and the 10th amendment of the US Constitution."

At last, I'm proud to be living in Washington State. Gregoire has a lot of nerve questioning who McKenna represents considering how she got elected.

“I don’t know who he represents. He doesn’t represent me,” Gregoire said .....

Unlike you, Chris, he represents “The People”.

Isn’t Gregoire the Dim who cheated and swindled and demanded recounts upon recounts until she could have enough ballots printed up with her name on them to steal the gubernatorial election a few years back? That Gregoire?

Too bad there wasn’t an extra copy of the Constitution in that same closet where they stashed all those fake Gregoire ballots.

Filthy demorats don’t care about rules and the Constitution. Truly they are not worthy to hold elected office.

Gregoire is still an election stealing fascist pig. She ought to be run out of there as soon as possible. Tell her to go somewhere West ~ not here. We got a bunch of ‘em over the river and they are no good.

I have been expecting this.

The key is the legislature which is controlled overwhelmingly by the Democrats. If the legislature and governor decide to deny McKenna the funds to pursue this, then Washington drops out of the alliance.

I'd say to Governor Landslide...”sweetie,the question is whether or not the majority of Washington's resident support it or not.If they support it...no challenge. If they oppose it...”

Yep, that’s her...”Queen Christine, Governor of King County”.

The question I have is...if push comes to shove, can Fraudoire throw McKenna out of office, even though he was elected?

No, she cannot toss McKenna out of office. But she and the legislature can deny him the funds to pursue this.
