Today another massive earthquake (this one in Indonesia), which did very little damage / deaths.
Matthew 24 is happening NOW.
The quakes MUST happen in order to fulfill God’s Word!
But Jesus Christ, the CREATOR of the Universe - is HIMSELF quieting the results of these quakes so that the massive damage/deaths that SHOULD occur from them - is NOT happening!
These things are happening so that those who see them will believe in Jesus and that, by believing, they may have LIFE ETERNAL - including the great benefit of being part of the GREAT DELIVERANCE from the terrible time of suffering called the Great Tribulation (foretold by all the prophets and by Jesus and by those who wrote the New Testament).
That “time of Jacob’s trouble” is almost upon us!
Jesus would have ALL come to Him! He would have NONE to perish!
He is pulling out All the stops to reach every possible person in order that as many as possible will be SAVED - not only from eternal wrath (hell) but also from the outpourig of God’s righteous wrath on this earth which is just about to commence (and includes events such as the unveailing of the antichrist, whose mark will be required in order for human beings to buy or sell anything, and the martyrdom of millions who will turn to Jesus and be killed by the antichrist for not accepting his mark.)
Please, NOW - DO NOT DELAY ANOTHER SECOND - run to Jesus! He will receive you, protect you, deliver you, and bring His healing wholeness to you NOW and forevermore!

God is speaking to the world in many many ways - including all the earthquakes which He is calming so that they do not bring the massive death and destruction that SHOULD be occurring from them!

The basic understanding is this: when people have a religious (or even a political) disagreement, not much can be accomplished unless both parties assume good intention and good sense in the other party. In other words, neither party should assume that the other's argument proceeds from either sheer idiocy or a character flaw.
I'm willing to assume good intention and good sense on your part. If you can say the same, we could proceed to discuss these things.

I would have no problem discussing these things, however, I have to tell you that, at this point, I can't imagine where the discussion would begin.
I think there is such a gulf between Catholic theology and what I, as a born-again believer (not to be confused with mainline Protestant "churches" who have no concept of the meaning of Christianity and have slapped God in the face so many times I am sickened that they call themselves Christians), believe about Scripture and the infallibility and absolute inerrancy of Scripture, and the fact that I am horrified and completely intolerant of any attempt to add or take away anything in the word of God, that I'm not sure where we'd begin.
I do believe you have a good heart, and I am not interested in bashing the beliefs of others until and only until, there is someone who not only denies doctrines and facts as God put them in His Bible, but does so arrogantly and condescendingly.
I will not arbitrarily engage someone else, no matter what they believe, in argument about their beliefs until they attempt to change Scripture.

I believe that the signs for the Tribulation, which God said would occur as birth pangs, are in their beginning stages, including earthquakes in "diverse places" as Jesus said they would be in Matthew 24, and yes, I think God is preventing them from being more severe as an attempt to give people a chance to see these things for what they are and come to Him for salvation before it's too late.
I don't think we have much more time, however. I believe the Psalm 83 prophecy is about to be fulfilled, and, based on what is going on in this world, which correspond with the signs Jesus gave us, I think the Rapture of the church is very close.
In the meantime, let's pray for each other. God bless you.

Yes, the time is very short - but we can pray all our beloveds into the kingdom - just ask Jesus to save each one to the uttermost - before He returns - and before they die - and He will do it!!!!! His promises are sure and when we pray that way, we are praying according to His will since He says He would that ALL turn to Him for salvation!
All they have to do is call upon His name and they will be saved! Many will be saved at that very last moment before He comes! I believe.
But they Shall be SAVED as we pray for them!!!
FAther, I pray that every one who reads this thread will be brought into your Kingdom before YOU return for your beloveds! I pray that every single one of those for whom we care and yearn for them to know You - will be saved to the uttermost - BEFORE you come for your Bride! I pray that every broken person, every needy person, every sick person, every hungry person, every thirsty person, every persecuted person, every oppressed person, every deceived person, every depressed person, every anxious person, every addicted person, every grieving person, every abused person, every hurting person, every joyful person, every kind person, every seeking person, every previously skeptical person (about God), every lost person, every person who has wronged us, every person we have wronged, every loved one, every relative of ours alive today, every person with whom we work, every person in every business in this country and in the government in this country, every elderly person, every baby (we know all the babies are saved), every young person, every middle aged person, every person over 50,- shall be FOUND by YOU and SAVED to the uttermost BEFORE your return for us in the great Rapture event that is about to occur!

When the new Jerusalem comes down from heaven it will be approximately 1500 MILES long by 1500 MILES wide BY 1500 HIGH
Chicago, where I'm near is about 228 sq miles with about 3 million people. If Chicago were laid out at 228 miles long by 1 mile wide, it would take 6 Chicagos end to end just to make up the length, by another 1500 times that to get the width. So if we took 3 million x 6= 18 million x 1500= 27 billion.
Now thats just using length x width, NO height. Sears Tower (Willis Tower) is 1450 feet tall, just a little over 1/4 of a mile high. New Jerusalem will be 4000 times as tall. Sears Tower is only 1 building, there are only about 6, 1000 ft buildings in Chicago.
If New Jerusalem were divided into levels 5 miles high, there would be 300 levels. That means there could be 8.1 TRILLION people just in New Jerusalem. (Providing there are only a relatively limited number of "skyscrapers" built. Imagine numerous buildings like Taipei 101, or Burj Kahlifa (Burj Dubai), or Petronas Towers. If engineering is unlimited for a city like this imagine just doubling the population because of thousands if not 10's of thousands of MASSIVE "skyscrapers", or 16 Trillion.
Imagine the elevator system to get from the ground to the top :)
According to Wikipedia, the International Space Station is between 173-286 miles up.
I'm not saying that there will be that many. I'm stating that I agree with your statement, that there COULD be 50 billion people (if not more) in the millenial reign.
Yes, it’s coming soon .. but first GOD will offer a Final Harvest to the church; to reap the remaining who have been called according to His purpose.
It’s going to be a BIG event.
