No, the war was about slavery, entirely, and it was from its beginning in the south.

If you are saying then that the Southern boys who fought that Goon Tyrant were fighting to keep people IN slavery, me and you HAVE A PROBLEM.

At least Lincoln wasn’t a Crossdressing coward like Jefferson Davis was...

So you're willing to speak for EVERY SINGLE SOUTHERN SOLDIER IN THE CIVIL WAR?

that's a joke right? You cannot honestly believe that not one singular soldier was fighting to keep the slaves.

And yes, we have a problem. Some Southern soldiers were indeed fighting to keep the slaves. If you don't like it, too damned bad.

You have the problem. If they wanted to avoid war, why didn’t they outlaw slavery on their own? Same reason there’s human smugglers today. Evil, greedy people.

Nah. Every soldier fights for their own reasons. Lee felt more loyalty for Virginia than the USA, despite his personal distaste for slavery.

However, when it came to the political/economic big shots of the South, they were committed to slavery (their writings were indicative of this). Remove slavery from the equation, there’s no Civil War. Remove everything BUT slavery from the equation...you’d still have a Civil War.
