My concern is that the 19-26 yr, olds will continue to believe in his lies & the socialist crap taught in schools & universities. He handed them a huge carrot with being able to stay on their parents insurance. While it is a good thing to be able to have my kids covered by insurance, the method of implementation was a steaming pile of bovine fecal matter. I for one will be having a ‘chat’ with my children. ‘If you vote for ANY democRAT, your reward will be luggage. Let the government support you. I’m through supporting your butt. Sure they can lie to me but after raising them, I know their ‘tell’. Remember the golden rule: He who has the gold make the rules.

"I just have so much faith and confidence in the American people and their ability even when they're anxious, even when they're scared, even when they're uncertain, to ultimately have an instinct about what is right," he said. "Not just right for them individually, not just right for them in the here and now, but what's right for them over the long term; what's right for the country over the long term; what's right for the next generation and not just for the next election."

And THAT is precisely why they are toast.

About 150 rich Boston Democrats handed over $30,400 per couple to hear Obama say these words Thursday, April 2, 2010. Ohaha pumped the unpopular Gov Deval Patrick who is trailing in the polls---even loser Coakly failed to recognize his presence at her concession speech. He looked like a doorknob standing there. Plus Obama set a record for a run-on sentence -- 304 words in one sentence.

" I want to say obviously that our hearts go out to all the families who’ve been affected by the recent flooding. I was at the emergency center where Deval walked me through the steps that are being taken coordinating resources. It’s at moments like this where leadership is tested. And as usual, Deval has passed with flying colors. It’s also at moments like this -- I spoke to a larger group before I came here -- that we are reminded of the value of government."

Democrats are headed for a tough election cycle, he acknowledged. Obama said Democrats had reached a "high-water mark" in the last few elections.

"These November elections, will be hard," Obama said. "Partly because this country is still divided, and after 2006 and 2008 we hit a very high-water mark in terms of Democratic representation in Congress and governorships, and we're in the midst of what is still a very difficult time."

Nevertheless, Obama said he was confident that Americans would see past the politics of the moment.

"I just have so much faith and confidence in the American people and their ability even when they're anxious, even when they're scared, even when they're uncertain, to ultimately have an instinct about what is right," he said. "Not just right for them individually, not just right for them in the here and now, but what's right for them over the long term; what's right for the country over the long term; what's right for the next generation and not just for the next election." (Ohaha's not that optimistic--musta stole that from Reagan)

I don’t trust him. He has something planned.

Perhaps. OTOH, he's sufficiently full of himself to believe he can save the RATS simply by the force of his charisma.

They created the financial crisis in the late summer of 2008 to get him elected.

I have always said how convenient the timing was of the crisis

“Our upcoming losses are not because of me. It was just that we were so darn successful before me.”

Or, in other words, "Bush's fault". If he hadn't been so bad, we wouldn't have been so successful, and wouldn't have losses this time.

I was listening to a radio show. The guest was asked if we could take back congress. He said senate no, possibly house. But he said the DNC has so much money and the GOP basically has none.

Did he mean taxpayers funding (missing stimulus, budget, tarp, fed reserve?) will go towards dimwits re election campaigns? Why would DNC have so much money over republicans?

I keep going back to the guy who said he attended a Chicago democrat meeting after Obama’s election that he worked on. At the meeting he said they would have so much money and they planned on a one party rule forever. And they would have job reparations. If that story is true, they knew then they would have lots of money. Where is it coming from?

My fear is it will be our money being used against us. Law means nothing to Obama and his thugs. The NWO Federal reserve admits they broke the law, usurped the constitution, and Geithner and Bernanke are still in control.

I hope Obama campaigns for every Dem Senator up for re-election.

The hatred for him as a socialist ideologue who hates America, across the nation ,is so palpable you can cut it with a cheese knife.

"These November elections, as Tim [Kaine] said, will be hard," Obama said.

Uh, oh. So to make it *easier* for the dems he'll grant amnesty to the 20-30 million illegals sometime in October???

Good Lord, he said something I agree with. We do indeed have that instinct, President Obama, and that's why we're protesting everything you do.

I fear that Obama will use some trumped up emergency powers to suspend the November election results.

Yes, money is important BUT arrogance and smugness does not win campaigns....especially when people are very, very angry as they are now.

CASE IN POINT Ohaha stupidly told Martha Coakley she could not have money to run a poll which would have showed she was way behind. Scott Brown won the seat the Kennedys hold 50 years. Brown campaigned against O/Care, favors the death penalty. He is against gay marriage. He questions whether global warming is man-made or natural. He does not believe waterboarding is torture. He says he supports Roe v. Wade but he has not promised to protect abortion rights, and was endorsed by the anti-abortion group, Massachusetts Citizens for Life.

=================================================

CASE IN POINT Ohaha was heavly invested in the NJ gubernatorial race. His carefully-laid plans----for installing a permanent Dem majority went haywire. Pulling out all the stops for NJ made Ohaha a VERY good target for voters disgusted with Ohaha’s policies.

OBAMA WAS DESPERATE FOR NJ's CORZINE TO WIN. The NY Times reported:
(a) every TV ad Corzine put on the air was screened by Obama's WH team.
(b) Corzine's aides gave the WH daily briefings.
(c) Obama’s pollsters took over for Corzine’s polling team,
(d) White House operatives were on the ground for internal strategy sessions,
(e) White House operatives were orchestrating obscure pep rallies with Latinos (kept secret from voters),
(f) Ohaha campaigned in the state three times, Biden was there twice.
(g) Ohaha TV ads ran relentlessly in costly NY media markets.
(h) The crooked NJ Democrat Machine was also running at warp speed.

The New Jersey race was considered a "squeaker" that would go on till all hours. But two hours after the polls closed, the Repub was declared the winner with a comfortable 4-point margin (would have been higher were it not for Dem voter fraud).

Other pertinent facts:

>> Incumbent Dem Jon Corzine (the wealthy loser) outspent the Repub winner Chris Chirstie about 4-1.
>> New Jersey has a huge Democratic registration.
>> Corzine bragged he had 20,000 paid union helpers on the ground election day to get out the vote.
>> There was a third party candidate siphoning off Republican votes.
>> Corzine had the power of incumbency.
>> Corzine had the power of a crooked Democrat Machine cooking the vote.
>> Ohaha hid $17.5 BILLION stimlulus in New Jersey.....for Corzine's reelection campaign.

And still Corzine lost decisively.

THE UPSHOT According to Ohaha's slimy Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, Ohaha was "busy with other matters" election night and "wasn't really concerned" with election results...an indication the WH is sucking up valium and vodka in order to anesthetize themselves from the aftermath.....trying to convince themselves the election was not a referendum on Obama.

The tsunami is ahead---in 2010-12.

=========================================

THE NEVERENDING WH SLUSH FUNDS Obama already has a huge slush fund:

(a) 80% of the trillion dollar stim is unspent and under his control......that he is using to finance endangered Dem.

(b) June 9, 2009 Obama announced, "Several financial institutions are set to pay back $68B to taxpayers." Taxpayers assumed that would be returned to the general funds from whence it had come .......in order to pay down the debt. The truth, however, is that the money returned is finding new life as part of what amounts to a Treasury Dept-controlled slush fund....to finance candidates.

ANOTHER SLUSH FUND The US Senate may break their own rules-----and go against the will of the vast majority of US Citizens----to pass their health care bill.......by using the nuclear option.

Remember that the first four years of ObamaCare is to amass $$billions. Period. Healthcare does not kick in til 2013.

Another gimmick pushes much of the legislation’s costs off the federal budget and onto the private sector by requiring individuals and employers to purchase health insurance....or pay a hefty fine or go to jail (only illegals are exempt from this provision).

=========================================

Any fool can plainly see that Ohaha is frantic----rushing to get money into the hands of ACORN, SEIU, immigrant groups, and others, BEFORE the Nov 2010-12 elections. Stupid Dems know that, for them, it's curtains in 2010-12---unless massive voter fraud takes place. They need to buy votes, and are pulling out all the stops to get billions into the hands of their operatives---ACORN, SEIU, immigrant groups, and others.

Liz,

I’ve been hunting, but haven’t come across it yet. Here is a good website from the Reagan Library. All you have to do is Type in a few key words and it looks for them in Reagans speeches. Maybe with a few of us doing it, we will find the right key words...

Thanks so much-—there’s also a book of Reagan’s speeches in print.

I’m thinking those WH turds Emanuel and Axelrod are glued to the book....hunting for phrases.
