The mark of the beast. Can not buy or sell goods without the mark of the beast upon forehead or hand.
Totalitarian madness.
Is that in Section 666?
think of it as telemetry equipment
They WILL NEVER “Tatoo” ME!
Break out the tin foil hats!
Apparently the goal is to have all of your personal medical information on a microchip in the event of an emergency.
If you want medical treatment you’ll be required to get one. Starting out with implanted devices.
What’s that in the Bible about the whole won’t be able to buy or sell thing??
Newbie - I’d advise you to double up the Reynolds Wrap on your tin foil hat.
That way the microchips wont transmit or receive.
Good my insulin pump falls under a class 1 medical device so type 2 and 3 must be things like artifical hips and other implanted devices?
And they called Alex Jones crazy.
Current implantable devices, pacemakers, artificial hearts, etc., store data on their operation.
Not to say this couldn't be abused later, but by itself, this is nothing to get the willies over.
FDA medical device classes are described here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medical_device
Class II=wheelchairs etc. (generally not implantable)
Class III=heart valves, breast implants
The medical registry simply is a centralized repository so that the government knows who has what devices and what has happened to them healthwise. The idea is to improve patient safety since without a good denominator, it is hard to come up with objective estimates of the risks associated with devices and whether these vary with observable patient characteristics (age, gender, race, level of disease). In theory, this is useful information to know.
Will the government abuse this collection of patient outcome information? Who knows? What is clear is that this provision has nothing to do with mandating that everyone have a microchip implanted. It’s simply saying that IF you use certain classes of medical devices, you must be included in a national registry to track and report these outcomes.
The point isn’t to publicize that “Patient X” died from a device, but instead to be able to say things such as “Mortality risk for male patients age 55-64 is 1 in 10,000; for female patients in that age, it is 1 in 20,000” etc. In theory this is information you and your doctor would want to have when deciding about whether to use a Brand X medical device. And properly used, the information should not compromise patient privacy.
I think you are just reading from the section applicable to registered republicans.
One more time. /sigh
Semiconductors are filed with toxic metals so you could never get approval for them to be placed inside a human.
Second, you’d have to do surgery on someone everytime you needed to replace the batteries.
Hey obambi you know where you can put that chip?
“(g)(1) The Secretary shall establish a national medical device registry (in this subsection referred to as the registry) to facilitate analysis of postmarket safety and outcomes data on each device that (A) is or has been used in or on a patient; (B)and is (i) a class III device; or (ii) a class II device that is implantable, life-supporting, or life-sustaining. “
Call me crazy, but this seems like they want a database on implantable HEALTH DEVICES. Like pacemakers or something.
I think this is getting a tad hysterical.
