Obama says we're still working on our democracy, and the White House adds that they're making progress:
President Obama said Sunday that the United States is still "working on" democracy and a top aide said he has taken "historic steps" to improve democracy in the United States during his time in office.
The remarks came as Obama met with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev one of the U.S. president's many meetings with world leaders ahead of this week's nuclear summit.

Working on democracy - isn’t that what Lenin said when he “assumed” office?
To: pillut48
Obama better hope we don’t become a democracy— without a (com)pliant Congress and his buddies in the media, he’d get voted out in a hurry!
(And incidentally, the narrative of “improving” democracy is part and parcel of the progressive/Communist understanding of history and political systems. See also Marx.)

If Bummer cared a whit about “democracy” as defined in the political textbooks, he wouldn’t have rammed Obamacare down America’s throat and would not even think of ramming amnesty. To Bummer, “democracy” is getting the people to like licking your boots.

OK, Obie, if we are getting better at “democracy” then why did that monstrosity of a healthcare bill that was opposed by a majority of voters pass???

Social Democracy (Source: Marxists.org)
"The term "Social-Democracy" has been used by Marxists since the time of the First International of Karl Marx and Frederick Engels. The term is both an organizational appellation, meaning it describes a particular political affiliation within a political culture and an adjective describing a "kind" of politics within the broader socialist movement. Simply put, a social-democrat was for democratic socialism. That is, the extension of political democracy to the economic level, the elimination of capitalism and the institution of a broad based workers democracy."

Same man worked on Obamacare against the wishes of a 58% majority/
Same man will work on naturalization again ,against a majority, against what is good for the people and their economy.
Now! That is Democracy in Action! And he is going to refine it further?
To: pillut48
Obama is working on getting rid of it or at the least, corrupt democracy beyond recognition in his favor.

Ya see, Bummercare is punch 1 of a 1-2 punch. It is the carrot which is designed to bring the anticipated amnestees into the voting force instead of having them yawn in our faces and go their merry anonymous way or even return to Mexico. It meant enough to Bummer that Bummer actually gave up being lazy for the sake of getting it rammed through.
And then, Bummer will have a people the majority of which licks his boots. “Democracy” mission accomplished.

More words and double speak. He’s working on a dictatorship that’s called a democracy in our Orwellian times.
