Lesson here, you never know when you might need it and you won’t have much time.
Not sure I see where the CCW comes in though. He was on private property.

He just wanted to make sure they didn’t short-change him.
Whenever bums ask me for anything like this, I tell them to back the **** off. You never know which one is wearing an ankle bracelet, if you know what I mean. This perp might not have looked like a bum though. So perhaps my system isn’t as foolproof as I thought.

The would-be robber has not yet been identified, but police say he was wearing an ankle bracelet consistent with those issued for home detention.
Well that parole worked out really swell.
- Not supposed to leave his 'house' -- he did.
- Not supposed to have a firearm -- he did.
- Not supposed to commit any 'more' crimes -- he did.
Officials should find out who the brainiacs were that decided this mutt should be put back on the streets.
On second thought, forget that. The dopes would prolly get a promotion.

I love a happy ending!!!

No arrests have been made at this time. Or are likely to be. It was a clean shoot.

Magic words

“police say he was wearing an ankle bracelet consistent with those issued for home detention.”
The moral of the story is “when the law fails, freedom prevails”.

The response wasn't very nuanced. Clearly, the shooter should have sat down with this poor, disadvantaged gentleman to discuss the situation and reach a mutual understanding. A beer summit would have been nice, don't you think?
