Actually, under the definition of “Natural Born,” this should require the birth certificates for the candidate and the candidate’s parents. Natural Born requires both parents to be citizens.
. . . and "citizen" implies current citizenship, not revoked/abandoned citizenship via marriage of the mother of a minor child to a foreign national and subsequent adoption of foreign citizenship.

And the standard of proof for that is within the purview of every state's legislature. As SCOTUS noted in the Bush v. Gore decision, each state legislature has the authority to select the state's presidential electors directly without even conducting and election, at its discretion.

I wasn’t for McCain, only voted for him for obvious reasons BUT he went through the whole vetting process and even legal hearings to prove he was natural born, when the question was posed. Supposedly zero even assisted him in that. The point is, why didn’t zero go through the same legal process?

“>> scoffing ... to show his birth certificate

Imagine “scoffing” at the DMV or DoS agent when applying for your license or passport”

When I changed residence from Texas to Georgia, I had my birth certificate, #1 marriage certificate, divorce decree, and #2 marriage certiciate. I was warned that when I had my license renewed I would need a certified divorce decree. I was forced to document EVERY surname change.
I have ABSOLUTELY NO SYMPATHY for Obama
AND I now understand and am sympathetic if a female would NOT want to change her surname. All my hubby needed was his birth certificate.

Gee, what are they all scoffing at? They’re only asking for a birth certificate!

His father was NOT a US citizen at the time of his birth.

If this passes, guess who will not appear on the ballot this year. What will the Obots say then? all i saw were “racist” comments about birthers. None educated at all, claiming John McCain was born in panama why didn’t he have the problem etc etc etc.

It was closed for comments but I wish I could ask, why was there no senate hearing on Obama’s eligibility as there was n McCain where they all agreed that in order to be a NBC all you had to be was born of TWO American citizens?

I hope other states follow suit. It will be an Obama free election.

I'll answer, but probably somewhat differently than the original poster. I've been following this for a while out of curiosity, and formed different conclusions than some.

Why doesn’t he?

TOO, too much to lose and nothing to gain. Pulling off the biggest fraud on America, he's not going to willing admit to it. That includes Pelosi and all his media pawns - they all know and w/o their help, he couldn't have pulled it off.

Heck, I know through my adoptive family I have Indian Heritage, too! LOL My (adoptive) paternal mother’s Grandmother(?) was a Cherokee Indian woman who (according to the family story) was on the trail of tears and was hurt and couldn’t continue on... Our family took her in and she ended up marrying one of the sons when they fell in love...

My adoptive family’s heritage is so rich and wonderful, it makes me upset that I can’t research my bloodline. I’ve “adopted” my husband’s family as my own (for my kids) basically, and have researched his back to Poland (which becomes very hard due to all the divisions over the years... One polish family ended up being in Prussia, and on the other side were from Galicia (both Polish families stuck under the rule of others...). It’s hard to research back beyond the ones that came over here in the late 1880s, and then in 1918(? - for the one from Galicia, right after WWI).

Anyway, that’s an interesting idea... I’m just hoping that when I write to IL that my Mother/Father/Aunt/Uncle/sibling etc... might have already registered and want to meet me. That would make things a LOT easier. The only thing that bothers me is that IL requires you to fill out a medical record in order to register for free - otherwise you need to pay $40.00. Don’t know which I want to do... I suppose the Gov’t will have my records soon enough, so perhaps it doesn’t matter all that much if IL has a record of my health... Plus, it’s only AFTER I register with IL that my adoption agency will even release my Non-ID info. now (don’t quite get that). THEN after that is the decision to search if possible... but only through an intermediary... (and the Non-ID costs >$300.00, and then the search costs even more...). Very frustrating!

Sorry to pull this thread off-topic a bit. Thanks so much for the ideas! :)

Well, you wouldn’t be a presidential candidate - you already know you are missing something to comply.

And following that question, could we prosecute people that would have known this fact? Like Fukino? And possibly his immediate staff, Biden, Jarrett, Axelrod, Emmanuel and Gibbs just to name a few?
