Sarah has many things going for her but she needs to work on her speech patterns in interviews and needs to get a little more educated on certain areas- - - - -
- - - - - -
She will run an unconventional campaign. In 2008, she had to conform her ideas to McCain’s policies. His policies were vetted through campaign staff, so you had a moderate’s more moderate staff handling a conservative. It was way too plastic for Sarah. In 2012 she will play it as it lays. Her policies will be well laid out in advance. You can read them as she posts them on Facebook. Her policies will contrast greatly with Obama (or Hillary) and the election will be about abiding by the Constitution or throwing it out and adopting Rules for Radicals.

She does need to do some more foreign travel and I bet we see that after November. She stopped in liberal land last night (Eugene,OR) and did well. Her message will even be well received in NYC and SF before Obama’s term is up. He already has to take a union audience with him in order to get applause.

It’s much more important for Sarah to be genuine than it is for her to sound like an Ivy League debater. Whatever mannerisms and speech patterns she has that have drawn attention to her are good things. If she changed them now it would be phony. If she’s criticized for them, she just throws it right back at them.

Look she will get 100 percent of the fr vote. She needs to convince some of the mamby pamby moderates and to do that she has to polish up her game a little more. Not much, just enough to where she keeps her authenticity but convinces enough people on the fence that she can hacvk it.

Greetings,

What exactly is a Grantham accent?

I am a bit of an anglophile, and I have been to England many times and have friends there (in the South of England). I even listen to BBC 3, but honestly, on BBC 3 they all sound the same, so I am having a bit of trouble understanding that.

Thanks,
AR

looks as if Mark Levin has changed his mind.

Not all those who are critical of Palin and her fans are Obama supporters.

That's a distinction without a difference.

Think of her cabinet. Mark as chief of staff. Rudy Home Land. Forbes treasury sec. Tammy Bruce press sec. Coulter attorney General. Liz Cheney sec. of state. Oliver North sec. of defense.

You were right, of course. I googled it and found several such references. Time for another update:

BTW - Believing Palin is too much a “lightweight” for the job of Prez isn't an attack, it's an opinion based on her short and spotty political record, lack of knowledge in areas important to the presidency

With an attitude like that, I hope your happy with the alternative...I believe his name is Barack.

College - Quit four universities

Gee Bob, your such an expert on universities, and come off as a silver spooned snob, how did you pay for your schooling? She worked her way through. She doesn't really elaborate on finishing school in "Going Rogue", but she has a degree for her efforts. Without any experience in Alaska, your an expert on her, how?

Alaska Resources Board - Quit after 10 months

You probably didn't know the word VECO before Palin started uncovering the corruption - and you have no idea how corupt the system was before she blew a lot of redhot items out of the water Here is a FR link for you.

Don't know if you've read the book, "Going Rogue", but maybe you try from page 92 to 100. Oh that's right, you don't want to hear from her; nevermind.

Governor - Quit after 2 years

It's a long, tiring argument, but for you Bob, shall run it one more time...

Straight from C4P... Let’s clear something up right now.

It’s been suggested that Gov. Palin “chose” to use her personal counsel to defend herself instead of using the Attorney General or the Department of Law, and therefore it’s her own fault that she has accumulated over half a million dollars in legal debt.

That is complete balderdash.

The governor cannot use the AG to defend herself against ethics complaints. The AG is responsible for prosecuting violations of the law. But in the case of the governor and ethics complaints, the AG is removed from doing so by the law, and an independent counsel (or investigator) is contracted by the Personnel Board to act in place of the AG:

AS 39.52.310. Complaints.

(c) If a complaint alleges a violation of AS 39.52.110 - 39.52.190 by the governor, lieutenant governor, or the attorney general, the matter shall be referred to the personnel board....The personnel board shall retain independent counsel who shall act in the place of the attorney general under (d) - (i) of this section, AS 39.52.320 - 39.52.350, and 39.52.360(c) and (d). Notwithstanding AS 36.30.015 (d), the personnel board may contract for or hire independent counsel under this subsection without notifying or securing the approval of the Department of Law.

[emphasis added]

By definition, an ethics violation is elevating a personal interest above one’s state interest and duties. The government cannot defend a public official on an allegation that he/she violated state law in his/her personal capacity. In fact, it would probably be an ethics violation for the governor to use a state AG to defend her personal interests because that would constitute a misuse of state resources for personal gain. (However, that doesn’t preclude the possibility that the state could later indemnify a public official, if that is deemed lawful.)

So, yes, Gov. Palin must pay for her personal legal defense, and each allegation costs her money. The imbecilic ankle-biters smugly ask, “If she didn’t do anything wrong, why does she need legal counsel?”

End of C4P

Sarah explains the issue in "Going Rogue" on pages 363 to 378.

Your accusations hold as much water as saying -

"Hey Bob, Did you quit California?"

Or asking, "How's that wife beating going?"
