There was a thread on it and I remember someone looked up the location of his supposed disappearance and it was very close to the Kenyan embassy. It was the day after the news broke of some politician in Kenya speechifying that Obama was born there, a record of which was in the official government transcript - available online in PDF format. Sorry don’t have any of the links just memory.

The only 5-star hotel in that immediate area would be the Embassy Circle Guest House - Bed and Breakfast
Almost right across the street from the Kenyan Embassy.
