“When was the last oil rig explosion and where??”

As near as I can tell, it was the Glomar Arctic IV that exploded in July of 1998 while docked for maintenance in the harbor of Dundee Scotland. There were two deaths.

Have you heard “rumors” of North Korea’s torpedoing Deepwater Horizon oil platform owned by World’s largest offshore drilling contractor Transocean that was built and financed by South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd.?
