No one AVOIDED this. The dang thing just failed to detonate. To keep saying they avoided it sounds like some action precluded it from happening.
I suspect it’s Bloomberg running zigzag to avoid the incoming flak.
When I was in NY many years ago, there was a big fire...people never even turned their heads...

If the authorities see on any video footage that the guy jumping out of the vehicle is wearing a rag on his head and a dirty night shirt then then it will be quickly covered up to protect the Muzzies.

This is right out of the movie “The Siege”...muzzie bombing of Broadway....just before the martial law delcaration.
It always stuck me fun that some one would bomb Broadway, it seems to me Broadway does a good job of creating it own bombs. ;-)

A couple of years ago a reporter in Baltimore was beaten very badly just a few blocks from our city hall.
The cameras were being reviewed and it out that no recordings were being made.
Story in our local rag. Two rookie cops saw the smoke and called for backup. No mention at all of the street vendor who was the first to notice the smoking car.
The ever changing stories are so typical. Now they’re saying the saw a man fumbling with the ‘bomb’ and he ran away when the police approached.
