Maybe the Asians should learn a lesson from the 1960s. Print up a bunch of signs and pass them around that says ...SOUL BROTHER. That is what unarmed people did in the 1960s riots.;-)
One of my favorite cartoons of that age shows a fat white man loading his double barrel shotgun while the TV is covering a local riot.

You bring up a good point, Togo. How about we focus a spotlight on Africa for a bit and find out what life is like there for the blacks. Does anyone realize that black on black crime in Africa is likely much worse than here in the US? All of these African separatist groups in the US want to either go back there to bring the civilization here, but no one wants to admit that there are war atrocities going on over there that make a little gangland street crime look like stealing bubblegum from the corner store!
We're constantly told how bad the blacks have it here in the US, but no one wants to actually go over there to compare. Black friends of mine go over to Africa on missionary work every year, and they come back and say, "I'm really thankful to be back in America," when they're back home. For every one of these race baiting hustlers who says they want to be back in mother Africa, I say we subsidize a plane trip over there for them to see it first hand. South Africa, supposedly a pillar of rights, is more racist than any southern California ghetto could ever be.
They want it so bad, send them there first-class and tell them to write back when they've found their utopian society. If they ever get past the genocide and wholesale extermination of Christian blacks, they might find a tribe willing to take them in provided they learn the language.

I think The Lie is about worn out, when they cannot perpetrate it to effect in SF.
Of course, the people commenting can read, which skews the responses.
In that situation, 'gangs of kids' should be gangs of predators, or gangs of animals. Calling things what they are is always a good start to addressing a problem. And then a study of why these 'kids' became predators (and most already know, but are too cowardly to speak it).
Except for the Vietnamese, most Asian-Americans in Southern California vote Democrat. Sadly, up in Frisco, Chinatown and, I believe, Japantown are part of Nancy Pelosi's district.
