Boston Boycotts Arizona? It Should Be The Other Way Around!
Boston Herald ^ | May 6, 2010 | Michael Graham

The Boston City Council passed its boycott of Arizona last night, and already one Bostonian has pledged not to go anywhere near the Grand Canyon State until they stop enforcing immigration laws:

Aunt Zeituni.

No, she’s content to stay right where she is, in a taxpayer-subsidized apartment, collecting her city check and other benefits while receiving the best medical care in the world for her long list of ailments - all on the taxpayer’s dime. She’s like a welcoming beacon to every illegal immigrant in Arizona. “Come to Boston,” is her message. “I’ve been ordered deported twice - and they still won’t throw me out!”

That’s Boston. We don’t punish immigration law breakers. We embrace them.

Gov. Deval Patrick ended our participation in a federal program that allowed our state police to help enforce immigration laws. Just last week the House shot down Rep. Jeff Perry’s modest request that everyone applying for state benefits prove they’re in the U.S. legally.

And in 2008 the City Council unanimously endorsed the “Welcoming Massachusetts” pledge. Deportations and workplace enforcement, according to the council, “violate civil and human rights of [illegal] immigrants and, therefore, the core value that all people are endowed with unalienable rights.”

In other words, if you can get here, you can stay. While the rest of us pay and pay.

I could recount the body of social science on the impact of illegal immigration, how it costs taxpayers billions of dollars a year while driving down wages for working Americans, etc. But the City Council’s vote was untethered from facts or even basic logic.

On WTKK-FM yesterday, the resolution’s co-sponsor Felix Arroyo Jr. insisted, “Anyone in this country who is breaking the law should be dealt with. But that’s a completely separate issue” from illegal immigration.

So “breaking the law"...

Stand back and review history topics of the 1840s and 1850s. This is how the civil war came to be. State versus state. Agenda versus agenda. Newspaper versus Newspaper.

If none of the three major newspapers of Arizona take the common citizen’s belief...then they will face a mass exodus of subscriptions by July. Remember...immigration is now topic number one for the President now. Those three papers will be in serious trouble if sales ads disappear and a quarter of their subscribers just up and quit them. The TV media in the state? Same story. The Phoenix Suns? You can guess the long-range implications here.

Every single trigger of the mid-1800s is being recreated. I don’t think it’s even an accident anymore. It seems very driven by a political agenda and the reaction to it.

One last note...one of the key features for dislike over Lincoln...was his general view of “growing” the nation by adding states. Every state to be added after 1860...was a western state and destined to be anti-south. So every Senator brought in as part of the growth...to to help defeat the south in politics.

LOL! Sort of. I don't see why this woman is still here, still on welfare, still living off the American taxpayer, and obviously planning to do so for the rest of her life. It's not even as if there's any question that she's here illegally, no doubt about her identity, no reason for her not to be on the next plane back to her homeland. And yet here she sits.

"violate civil and human rights of [illegal] immigrants and, therefore, the core value that all people are endowed with unalienable rights. "

These ILLEGAL invaders have no rights in any country where they have not attained legal status and citizenship. I don't care what Boston or any of the northeastern liberal strongholds want to say about it.

What's wrong with this picture:

We work for 40-50 years, pay into Social Security, and now there is a chance we might lose our benefits because the "fund" is going broke. Meanwhile, social security money is being paid out to thousands of these non-citizens for nothing more tedious than having babies on American soil?

So how to they propose to solve this problem?

Well, they want to take the old, white, American citizens before "death panels", which is for no other reason than to ease the burden on SS and medicare, so the illegals and minorities can have their "reparations and entitlements".

And, they figure we're to old to fight back...they figured wrong...remember in November.

2 million people were without clean tap water over last weekend in the Boston area. Bottled water was in such short supply it was sold only to locals,

You guessed it, none of the beautiful people objected at all to having to show their drivers' licenses to get bottled water so long as it kept the non-locals from getting any.

remember in November

And when November doesn't work out, armed thugs at polling places beating whites who might not vote for the chosen winners, obvious election fraud, busloads of illegals voting.

What are you going to do then?

Boston Boycotts Arizona? It Should Be The Other Way Around!

I should think Arizona would be a better vacation without the Massholes AND the illegal interlopers.

Boston, however, is a perfect fit for the invading scum of the earth.

They can have them....idiots.

These boycott votes by self-important urbanites far from the battleground are as pathetic as they are irrelevant.

‘Boycott’ seems to have some special meaning among leftists but since most of them have precious little disposable income nobody really gives a toss at the end of the day.

Screeeeaaamm! I AM SICK OF PAYING AND PAYING!!!!! SICK, SICK, SICK OF paying for people with no LEGAL right to be here or those US citizens who sit on the couch all day expecting the rest of us to foot the bill because of (fill in any chip-on-their shoulder reason that fits).

(BTW, I live in Massachusetts and my family has avoided Boston for years)

Fine. Arizona should a few busloads of deported “guests” to Boston. Seems like the humane thing to do, right? If some of these people were any more stupid, they’d have to be watered twice a week.

One-way tickets to Boston, ‘Frisco, etc. would be appropriate for all illegals caught but released while awaiting their federal hearings.

Two of the FOUR BOXES OF FREEDOM remain to be used:

Soap box
ballot box
jury box
ammunition box
