Facebook turns on Palin

Former Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin's endorsement of Carly Fiorina in California's Senate race has prompted a fervent blowback on her Facebook page, long Palin's safe haven for delivering her message.

The revolt is coming from Palin supporters who also back Chuck DeVore – a tea party favorite who is campaigning against Fiorina in the Republican primary.

Palin’s Facebook page is littered with comments opposing her endorsement of Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett Packard.

“The only REAL CONSERVATIVE is Chuck DeVore. Fiorina is a RINO and we don't need any more of those in [California],” one irate commenter wrote. “Why wouldn't you back Chuck DeVore???”

“Sorry Sarah but I think Chuck DeVore is the conservative candidate you should be supporting,” added another, who was followed up by a DeVore supporter who wrote: “I don't agree with this endorsement AT ALL! What are you thinking Sarah?”

If Palin had stumped for him, and held fundraisers for him, he WOULD have the money by now to have competed with Fiorina and Campbell in the TV ad race. Then where would the polls stand ?

LOL. Why would you think the duty to raise money for him and campaign for him should be Sarah's?

The last time I checked, Libtard Campbell is ahead in the polls despite Fiorina's fortune.

You snark about Sarah Palin who has done more in leading Conservatives the past few years than anyone else.

Now we are getting close to the diagnosis.

DeVore goes through melt downs as he did tonight.
He is not Senator material

I agree. Look at it this way, we all want Boxer gone, and with all the infighting going on, you know who ends up winning at the end..Campbell who is the WORST of all. Sarah Palin can endorse whoever she darn well pleases, doesn’t affect me at all..to me its just someone saying “I like this person go with her/him.” I don’t know why people make such a fuss about an endorsement, like, “Oh she is a RINO since she supports Fiorina” she also supported many that I DO agree with, Alan West to name a few. She has made some great choices and some that I don’t agree with. I was actually more shocked that she even got involved in this race at all..This is California, no one wants to get involved in this mess LOL

Using your logic, isn't Campbell better than Boxer? If Campbell polls better than Fiorina against Boxer, then we should support him.

According to Rasmussen, Campbell is running ahead of Devore and Fiorina against Boxer.

Honestly, I don’t see a problem with this.

I would rather see a powerful leader with cautious lieutenants than the contrary.

She’s running for 2012 now. She’s serious....good to see.

Looks like quiting the Alaskan Govenorship was a shrewd move indeed.

McClintock went to another county to run and was lucky to squeek by in his win though a conservative district.

He would never win the major population areas.
Remember, most votes win

It’s only their logic in so far as it goes to protect their princess.

Very true... On the other hand, I will sleep better at night knowing that I voted for the candidate that I prefer (not necessarily the one that wins) but even better, I will have voted my conscience. You on the other hand will have a winner but may regret it the rest of your life. Now just who will be happier?

Reality... If you don’t vote for the best candidate according to you beliefs, you will continue to get those that you deserve...

The people on here who are turning sour on Palin is not because they are liberal....it’s because she is endorsing liberals.

Anyways thanks for being open minded enough to understand that.

See my post #129. Campbell polls best against Boxer. In fact, he is the only Rep who is beating her.

The problem is that Campbell is polling better than Devore and Fiorina against Boxer. In fact, Fiorina is the worst among the three. So if electability is the criterion, the obvious choice is Campbell.

Anybody stop to think that maybe Carly ASKED Palin
for her support and maybe DeVore didn’t? Is it pos-
sible that Carly might have made herself known to
to Palin during the ‘08 campaign and helped in some
way?

I would rather see Palin keep a low profile in the
primaries except for a few exceptions. Sarah needs
to spend a lot of time working on her own portfolio
if she is going to decide to make a run in ‘12.

Sounds wilfully ignorant to me. Why am I surprised. Sheesh. But I'll go through the motions: Campbell is not even a RINO, he's a liberal. Palin has made this endorsement to stop him - DeVore is simply a spoiler now.

Supporting Campbell is your prerogative, it looks close to a neck and neck race between him and Fiorina.

Personally I want him to lose, but whatever floats your boat.
