"Oliverio is a DINO in many ways."

He sounds preferable to many Republicans, frankly. I gather he won't be herded by the likes of Pelosi, Reid or Obama. Good stuff. The GOP has pissed me off so mightily over the past two decades that I really have no built-in preference for a party label any more. I'd take a Zell Miller over a Lindsay Graham just about any time. This guy Oliverio sounds pretty good. May his tribe increase among the Dems.

You're being played. There were plenty of "Blue Dog Democrats" in the last Congress, and when the chips were down, they made Pelosi Speaker and passed her agenda. If this guy has a "D" behind his name, he'll vote like a 'Rat, everytime.

Oliverio MUST be asked who he intends to support as Speaker. Even people like Heath Shuler voted for Pelosi. If Pelosi is Speaker she still sets the agenda. If he can't say or supports Pelosi he must be voted down.

I hear what you are saying. But if Oliverio wins in November and drinks the Obama/Pelosi Kool-Aid he will be toast in 2012 in his re-election bid.

Don’t be naive. Why is he in Pelosi’s party?

If he says he won’t vote RAT for Speaker they won’t fund his campaign. Every single rat in the House voted for Pelosi.

Whether you like Republicans or not (can’t blame you if you don’t) you must realize democrats are slime. This guy is in the same party as Obama and Pelosi.

Democrats have their majority thanks to liars who pretend to be conservative to get votes from people like you.
