Yesterday, Gracious First Lady.

Today, Liberal Useful Idiot.

I have no faith that the November Elections will change anything in this Country.

Big deal. She’s not in the WH anymore and she can’t change anything.

I noticed her book yesterday at the local store I shop at. I was thinking that the book might be one my wife and I would want to read. I guess not.

More daggers from the Bush family, anything to kill & divide the Republican party. Thanks GW & GHW for your failed presidencies and paving the way for a socialist radical pig like 0bozo to be usurper-in-chief. As for Laura Bush & the Bush women, you’re a bunch of liberal turds who don’t have a clue about anything, least of all abortion and gay marriage. Too bad your mothers didn’t believe more strongly in abortion.

Lighten up folks. Soon it will come out that one of her daughters had an abortion, and the other one’s a lesbo. Understandably, she would disagree with her morally superior husband out of love for her daughters.

Laura W. Bush has grown wealthy off the largesse of Republican voters, and now she admits she was never one of them. They should at least NOT buy her little book.

This doesn’t surprise me at all. Her husband turned out to be quite liberal so why shouldn’t she?

When Bush 43 became president, I distinctly remember a news piece that talked about both Laura and Barbara (her mother-in-law) being pro-choice. I remember talking to my husband about it years ago. The only revelation that is new to me is her opinion on gay marriage. Her opinion on abortion has been in the news before.

I suspect that she was probably also behind the amnesty push. The Bush women do like lots of servants to walk their scotty dogs and pick up their poop so they don't have to.

I remember a time that housewives were defensive of hiring help--it was anti-Democratic to pay someone to clean up after you. Long time ago.

There's a reason that GW spoke better Spanish than English. Nannies, yardmen, maids, cooks...remember how Bar used to boast that she didn't cook, even with all those children?

We've got the immigration problem in large part because the wives of elite Republicans are too lazy to take care of their own houses and families.

Thanks for the info on her stance FOR abortion. Shame on you Laura Bush. Shame.

Her husband isn’t much of a conservative, so something like this doesn’t really surprise me.

Well, I guess the way Bush laid down and died like a cowardly dog during the 2008 election makes a lot more sense to me now.

And this is why I pay absolutely zero attention to so-called First Ladies. Their opinions are like those of movie stars and other celebrities: absolutely worthless. No one elected them, and in my opinion we should stop the fawning and lionizing and talking about their clothes. This just fosters a climate of respect that leads them to open their big mouths. You don’t become a president by being married to a president, end of story.

I think, at the end, the liberals and conservatives will split the final scores: one for each. When the younger generation who learn from schools about sexual diversity, etc., and see gay characters on TV and popular culture every day, grow up, they will eventually vote for gay marriage. However, when they see babies in the womb through the USG, and listen to the babies’ heart beats, it is very difficult to defend the feminist doctrine that babies are merely part of woman’s body.

I lost some respect for Laura Bush when I heard these comments. And of course Larry King didn’t ask her to define “medical reasons”. Most women don’t have “medical reasons”, but “inconvenience to my lifestyle” reasons. And what “medical reasons” justify the taking of innocent human life? Sometimes doctors operate on the unborn when they have medical conditions or problems.

Laura has always been pro-choice. She stated this while GW was governor of Texas.
