I’ve always wondered why a man would want to separate a 2 year old child from its mother and what they would do with the child once they have it. Parenting a 2 year old is no picnic.

The only reason I can imagine is just pure vengance. Do you actually think the child is in danger?

Don’t use your child as a pawn in your war.

FIrst, what makes you think the Father may not be just as important to the child if not more so? My girls have always wanted to be with Papa, and have informed me since they got older that they could not imagine not having me around (and would not want to). Such was the stuff of their nightmares. Parenting a two-year old is just a warmup for parenting a three year old. They do grow up--and fast.

The only reason I can imagine is just pure vengance.

You can't imagine that a daddy would love his daughter?

If you are female as your screen name implies, I feel sorry for you. You must have missed something along the way--or your dad did--or, actually, both of you.

Don’t use your child as a pawn in your war.

Goes for both sides, there, IMHO.

Using the false restraining order gambit, a well known opening shot in a (to be) hostile divorce, speaks volumes--about the mom. That the order was lifted says a lot about the dad (tough to prove a negative--that the order was unwarranted, when the presumption is one that the order was warranted when applied for).

I pray this man gets his child back.
